Not true. 65% of reviewers gave it 5 stars and 12% gave it four stars. A combined 77% constitutes a clear majority of positive votes.

Q: Is this really stainless steel, where is it made, what is the warranty? Is it a real GOOD can opener?

There probably was a warranty, but I have since tossed the box etc out. Yes, stainless in the front, durable plastic in the back. Made in China. I think it is a very good value. Easy to use, quiet, looks nice on the counter.

Q: Does the lid fit properly back on after you've removed it?

If you want to be able to reuse the lid, you're looking for a side-cutting can opener - you asked back in 2021, and now it's 2023. I hope you found one!! LOL
