Works but it is intermediately helpful between hand loading and a real speedloader
This isn’t a speedloader as much as it is a hand loading assistant. You basically use the prongs to push down the round rather than your finger, and slide the next round down the prongs into place. I believe it was invented by a one handed gunsmith who can actually load mags this way. However, it’s really something that saves your fingers rather than automates loading like an uplula or similar. I used one of those cheap generic block loaders and it’s fast and reliable, loads the toughest mags. However, this is more portable, fits in a pocket - I just wish it had a cover for the prongs!

Bent prongs
I bent the prongs trying to get 15 rounds in a KrlTec P15 mag. Was able to straighten them. Works great until it gets tight

Simple and easy to use.
I carry a Kahr 9mm pistol. If you own a Kahr you know the last round or two into the mag can be a bear. That was ok when I was younger, but I have a bit of arthritis in my thumbs now and that last round is painful to push in. I have other mag loaders. They work but are a bit more complicated and you need a flat surface to steady the mag while you use them. I have found the Captain Jax loader to be simpler and easier to use. It doesn't take up much room in my pocket, so can carry it onto the range when reloading mags between stages during qualifications. Less expensive than the alternatives too! I highly recommend it.

loading the magazine.
hard to press the loader into the magazine. It works but very hard to load magazines.

Just doesn't work well.
Wanted to like it but it just doesn't work well. Prongs bend and it is awkard to handle. It adds little to no value. It did not help with 22LR, 22 mag, 5.7, 9mm, 10mm or 45s. You are better off getting a maglul and caliber/magazine specific loaders (mostly for 22s).
