Avoid buying - Faulty after 3 weeks
Shocking product, failed after 3 weeks of use , no longer recognising a SIM card at all, regardless of positioning. Unfortunately this was 2 days after the return window closed so Amazon are not interested in helping and want an “engineer” to look over the product. I would advise against buying. In addition the cost adds up for BlackVue- monthly subscription for the dashcam £8, £5 in SIM cards (£5 is for 2gb) which I run out of after a week or so, so more likely £15 a month for the SIM card. This also looks bulky on the windscreen and a shame there is no option for built in dashcam SIM card. I would advise going for the Nextbase IQ that has everything built in , and £9.99 a month for everything including data.

Can't Activate Sim Card?
I was having trouble Activating the Vodafone Sim card which was supplied. It took me a while to realise that I don't live in Albania and i had to scroll down to find the UK "Vodafone" option.Thought I'd try and save some of you some time when setting yours up.

Never got it to work
I bought the CM100LTE to permanently connect my Blackvue DR-900X dash cam to the cloud. I have a spare O2 data sim which works in phone, tablet and dongle, no problems. I put it in the CM100LTE and no connection. I copied across the APN settings from the other devices and still no connection.I contacted Blackvue Customer Support and was told contact O2 myself for the APN info as it was not their job to do this. Nice after sales touch there.I tried all the APN settings I could find on the O2 site and the google search but to no avail. O2 said the CM100LTE should be capable of auto detecting the sim as my other devices had done.Back to Blackvue Customer support and they added they only support Vodafone as a carrier and the use of any other carrier is at the user's discretion and therefore Blackvue will not offer support. Something not pointed out in all the sales blurb so beware. In the UK there are actually only four UK mobile networks: EE, Three, O2 and Vodafone, I'd have thought their APN setting would be something a "premium" branded, and priced, dash cam supplier would have researched to assist it's customers. Apparently not.So I sent it back for a refund. This was my first experience using Blackvue Customer Support and all I can say is the phrase "Customer Support" is a gross misrepresentation.

Waste of money Really
So I got this with my 750x 2 camera system, thinking it would auto upload any events to the cloud, it doesn't. it highlights events for upload, but doesn't actually upload them, so despite being connected, if someone breaks into your car, and ditches the camera, the recording is still on the SD card so the conncectivity module is worthless.Only reason to buy the connectivity module is if you want to spy on other people driving your car. Great for fleet managers, which, less face it, is what it's designed for, but useless to the general public, unless you want to spy on the wife.Does provide a hotspot connection, but now Vodafone have discontinued their 4GB data "smart Sim" for £4 per month, the new option is a "Smarty SIM" offering 2GB for only £5I don't think I'm gonna bother, unless Blackvue actually introduce auto upload that works, thanks

Excellent bit pricey
Simple to fit compact enough not intrusive on the windscreen doesn’t restrict view at all24 hour connection to internet can’t be bad.
