Tangled (Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray) [Region Free]

I absolutely loved this fun and very funny new take on the classic Repunzel tale.Don't let the Disney moniker fool you, this is a film that is as much fun for adults as it could ever be for children!The 3D in Tangled is very good. One interesting note is that the 3D version gives us the entire film on sharp focus, foreground, background, everything! In essence the image depth of field has been extended to infinity. The 2D version utilizes conventional depth of field. This is the first time I've seen this technical difference in a 3D vs 2D version of the same film.This movie is a truly superior effort from the talented folks at Disney's animation department.The script for Tangled is well above the average, the voice talents are right on the mark (with real chemistry between the actors playing the main characters), the jokes are funny, the sight gags all come off like gangbusters, and the artwork and animation are on a spectacular level close to Pixar productions--in fact, I would gladly stand this film up against any of Pixar Studio's very best works as a film. It's really that good!If you like excellent animated films, then you will absolutely love this one!If you love humor (and who doesn't), you'll be guffawing your heart out watching this fun and funny gem of an animated comedy.A massively enjoyable movie, Tangled is an animated big-screen fairytale comedy not to be missed by anyone of any age who loves to watch entertaining movies or to laugh away a couple of fun filled hours.And, if you are a 3D fan, the 3D on tangled is very well done.I recommend this disc highly.

I loved this movie is why I bought this 3D version but something is wrong with it. It has a flashing "bar" across the upper 1/3 of the screen ( the picture itself is normal as the movie plays but there is this annoying flashing strip that is only along the same straight line of the upper part of the screen and it won't go away the entire movie. Then it has a choice to play in 2D on the same disk but it won't play in 2D to see if that flashing will go away. I do not have this problem with any of my other 3D movies. Not sure what the issue is with that but I can't stand it.

I have no idea what crap they are doing to movies now but not a single blu ray player I have would play this movie. Don't recommend buying it unless its a real blu ray. its says files are missing. I couldn't get it to work on my actual blu ray player either. what garbage these movie producers have done and they have gone to far and want you to pay every time you watch a movie and pay separate for each device and now they can't even make a blu ray that works

Great effects in 3D. To bad 3D movies are not very plentiful on Blu-ray. This is one of the better minutes to see in 3D because of the lantern scene alone.

Disc wouldn't play. Error code and disc would eject on all my dvd players. Something about being unable to play in my region.

Arrived with tons of scratches and dirty! When tried to play on 2 devices both error came "check region code"

Excellent movie. Great music. Very creative. Very funny and very clever. A very underrated movie I think. If this didnt win awards, it should have. My 3 and 6 year old kids and wife and I all love it. And we are a conservative family and even for us this movie does wander off too much into liberal hidden messages or other junk like that. Great job Disney!

I always like Disney 3d movies, and this was a good one. Good depth without a lot of stuff thrown in your face. Cool interpretation of a classic fairy tale. My grand kids LOVED it.

Great film, kids love. Really good twist on the original story. Also comes in a nice sleve as part of the disney classics edition, no 50

When my daughter was about 3, this was my daughters favourite film and we would watch it daily, usually this is a bad thing, but i thoroughly enjoyed watching it with her.Now at the age of 6 and with younger siblings, we have rediscovered the film again, and still love it just as much.There are some catchy songs throughout, and plenty of humour. The characters are instantly likeable, especially the lovable rogue Flynn Rider.There is also Pascal, Rapunzels friend/pet, who provides many little funny moments.My daughter loves that Rapunzel has beautiful long, magic hair, for me I am a sucker for a love story.There are many quotes that we have all picked up from this film 'frying pans, who knew right' and many moments that would make my daughter shout 'again again' whilst pointing the remote control in our faces.This is a lovely film for all the family, well recommended.

I bought this as it was dubbed as a great Bru-ray to show off a 3d tv. It certainly didn't disappoint. The sharpness is amazing and the 3d effects worked very well. They were done in a natural way rather than just to show off what the graphics guys can do.This comes as 2 discs - one 3d and the other regular with bonus features. The bonus features were a bit disappointing with a couple of foreign language songs and some general Disney showcasing. I had hoped for some outtakes or alternative scenes but unfortunately not.

An excellent film that's not just for girls. My two sons enjoy the comedy, the baddies, and the comedy baddies. It's also good to see a female role model who is feisty, clever and independent. Maximums the horse thinks he's a dog and his scenes with Flynn are highlights every time.There's everything in Tangled, from a gothic Baddie, to wholesome Goodies, lies, frying pans, piano playing outlaws and an ending that brought happy tears to my eyes (even though I kept telling myself it was a cartoon). The scene where Rapunzel dances in the town square with flowers in her giant plait is such a feel good moment I'm hard pushed to think of a happier one.

I first found "Tangled" to be middle of the road, but since watching it through a few times i actually think its great. It is more shrek than cinderella, but thats a plus because the humour is so good with Flynn's womanising ways and Max the pyscho horse..i don't know but that it has definitely grown on me. I work in childcare and have seen the growth of the overprotective parents culture which is kind of made into a parady here, even if she isn't rap's real mum. Rap is such a sweet girl, i really like her and her character, maybe more realistic than cinderella's perfect ways or the other disney princesses, even though i adore Snow white and the old fashioned animation. The score is excellent with some really strong songs which do stick in your mind and the animation is stunning. Wish we had seen it at the cinema. Highly recommend, is good fun.
