Glycolic Acid Resurfacing Gel 10%, AHA Exfoliating Gel with Natural Fruit Acids, 3.0 oz

While a glycolic acid toner might be more versatile than a gel, a gel is much better for my face--- I can use it all over or as an overnight spot treatment on healing blemishes. I also use it on my legs as an after shave, and in combination with body cream it makes my skin baby soft! It's also fantastic to use on my feet and hands as a first step to self-mani/pedis, and I use it on the sides of my arms to treat chicken skin. I mainly use it on my face though, and it makes my skin super soft after using it a couple times a week. It does sting a teeny bit after I use my salicylic acid cleanser, so because of that I've stopped using them at the same time. It's great as a spot peel on my dried out blemishes! I use benzoyl peroxide in the morning and that dries out pimples, and then I use the glycolic acid at night to exfoliate it away. When I use it all over my face, I rub it in for a minute and then leave it on. It's been working really well for me. I'll never use a face scrub again, as this is much gentler. If your skin is super sensitive I'd definitely patch test this one.

I love this stuff. I put on a layer, let it dry, then do a second layer and let that dry. Then, with clean, dry fingers, I massaage my face using circular motions and the skin just peels off, leaving it brighter, clearer and more even.

I usually use the exuviance product called “glycolic expert” but I couldn’t afford it so I ordered a collagen,retinol cream and just add that into it as my nightly routine and it has worked wonders!! With 10% glycolic that’s all one squirt of it you need into any moisturizer. This does the job! 5 stars for me!

Works pretty good, takes dead skin cells off and dirty pores like blank heads off. Don’t let it sit for too long at first. Wash off and skin will look bright and super soft. Do not exceed more than 2 times a week.

I'm 36 and up until recently have gotten away with using only COSRX snail mucin serum, moisturizer, occasional retinol and sunscreen. Life was good! Well as I've aged closer to 40 it felt like my skin completely changed. I was getting both oily but flaky, red and irritated, and TONS of comedones and pimples! Did a deep dive into skin cycling and the different actives that I can use, and this serum came up frequently recommended as a chemical exfoliant. What a game changer. From the first use my skin was incredibly soft and smooth AF the next morning! The comedones instantly began to purge and slowly but surely are disappearing (I had let this go for months before taking serious steps to try something new so they're pretty deeply clogged). It has fit in beautifully with my COSRX products. I follow a classic skin cycling regimen. Night 1: Double cleanse, snail serum, Glycolic acid, eye cream, moisturizer Night 2: Same as above but swap the glycolic acid for retinol Night 3 and 4: Rest days - snail serum and moisturizer only after cleansing Every AM I use the snail serum, vitamin C serum, snail moisturizer and sunscreen (sunscreen is A MUST especially if you are using actives) I could not be more pleased with the results. Customer for life.

If you want super hydrated looking skin, then use this gem! It can sometimes clog pores due to keeping in excess moisture to give you that beautiful glow, so be sure to exfoliate the night before!

So this product really works. I'm always skeptical when I try something new but this product delivers. I'd be cautious to recommend it for sensitive skin because it's pretty strong. I've been using it regularly, three times a week in my skin cycling regimen. I don't think my skin could tolerate more than that. The morning after I use it and wash my face, my skin is extremely smooth and i've noticed a definite reduction in texture. When I first apply it it feels almost warm on my skin, it has a slightly strange smell that is hard to describe. It's not pleasant but not terrible. The positive results keep me using it despite the slightly unpleasant smell. My skin tingles a little and then settles down. I'm very careful to avoid my eyes and I lightly moisturize after I use it. In terms of value, this product gets a 10/10. Very affordable and it works. You can't really ask for more than that.
