My go-to wax since 2010
In light of the spotty reviews and the fact that I rely on this brand and seller for my refills, I thought I would finally weigh in.I have been waxing for approximately 10 years and have used different waxes including GiGi and other brands. Some other waxes also work but I keep coming back to this one because of the price value and because it does the job without multiple passes. A single tub from the store costs approximately $15-17. I used to have to wait for the buy-one-get-one-free sales to make this affordable and the price point offered by this seller for a 3 pack is on par with the buy one get one.I wax underarms, legs, and bikini area and I usually get two full uses plus a little extra from each tub. I double-checked and I only need to purchase a 3 pack twice a year (once every 6 months).I have never had an issue with this wax gripping hair effectively for removal. I've used both muslin and woven cloth strips but generally go with woven now due to its lower price point. Both work fine.To address some of the other reviews that provided a lower review due to its stickiness, messiness, and potential risk for tearing skin. This is true for all of the good waxes I have found. The purpose of hair-removal wax is to attach to hairs effectively for reliable removal. This wax does that. Wax is messy, true for every brand and type of wax I have ever used. Waxing does have the potential to tear skin, true for every effective wax I've ever used. For all of these concerns it really comes down to the proper preparation and technique used for the hair removal process. Do some reading, watch some youtube videos, and prepare before waxing yourself. Some skin areas are more at risk for tears than others (face, bikini area, brazilian, etc...). Do not wax over these areas more than once - this increases the risk for tearing skin and bruising. Ensure proper technique is being used to prevent the need to go over the same area more than once (hold skin tight, wax against the grain, etc...).Wax is sticky, and messy. They make collars to protect the wax warmer itself. I have never had an issue cleaning spilled wax from inside the wax warmer's tin as long as the spilled wax is still warm enough to collect with extra cloth strips. For the non-warm spilled wax, use extra cloth strips and baby oil (it takes a few minutes and some patience). This will also depend on what kind of wax warmer you use - again, proper preparedness is key.Lastly, yes if you accidentally get this in your hair you will have difficulties getting it out (try baby oil) and may have to resort to cutting your. This is not the wax's fault, it is designed to bind to hair. I always suggest putting your hair up in a high bun (or something along those lines, depending on hair length) to avoid any mishaps. Don't wear any clothing that you wouldn't mind getting ruined (I use an old t-shirt and sweat pants I never wear out) and put a sheet or two down to plan for mess. Especially if you're learning how to apply wax and are prone to drips. Again, this advice is true for any quality wax use. After 10 years I experience minimal mess when waxing, but it still happens and I chalk a lot of this up to the fact that I wax myself and don't have someone else assisting me.Waxing for hair removal is not the most user-friendly process out there and does require learning proper technique, preparing for the process, and having the appropriate tools available.

Best wax
I wax my own body and this is the best wax to use. I’ve tried others and been disappointed. I have been to salons before to get waxed and whatever wax they use doesn’t seem to be as good. My hair grows back fast and just as thick but this wax works amazingly. I always get a cleaner wax that last for weeks before my hair grows back and as it’s growing the follicles are thinner. I’m some places I have no hair growing anymore.

Much better for large areas than hard wax beads
Used this to compare waxing legs with hard wax vs soft wax. This was much easier to apply and pretty cool proof as far as ripping it off. Though it requires strips it requires far less material for the same area. As an amateur home waxer I had a litylebissue with getting it all on my hands but it easily came off with oil and baby powder. The fact that this came 3 in a pack was a great value, I estimate I'd probably be able to accomplish 2/3 full leg waxes per can if not more. It goes on super thin. Definitely won me over to the soft wax side for legs.

Great but you will get it leaky
This wax is absolutely amazing. I've been using it since 2013 since my friend recommended GiGi to me. I use it with the compact Gigi warmer. Here are my tips:- If you're using it on yourself, get a metal wax spatula! Wooden spatulas break and you need to spread a thin layer of this and metal wax spatulas work best (I got a pack of 2 here on Amazon for $6)- You need to use this with some sort of protection for the wax warmer like the GiGi clean collars. Otherwise, the wax will drip inside the warmer and cause permanent burnt wax stains inside.- Use this with NON-WOVEN wax strips, I've been using this with the woven muslin cloth roll for years (that I cut into my own strips) and I've recently found it to be pulling at my skin too much and actually ripped parts of my skin off (nothing too serious but do you really want to go through that?)- Make sure you pre-powder before waxing (Johnson's baby powder is fine). Just wash your skin, apply no moisturizers, powder a little bit, dust off the excess and you're ready to go!I've ordered this twice on Amazon and I've just learned to accept that it's going to come leaking and it's a small price to pay as opposed to buying it for $17 a can from Sally's Beauty.

Great product do your research
Great product! Make sure you don't go over each spot too many times 2 times max... 3 is pushing it think about it you are pulling your blood to the surface just like a hicky duh! Takes a minute to get used to how to use the wax and to get the wax to the perfect consistency to pull all the hairs but once you got t down you are good! Took me 20 minutes to wax both my armpits myself! A little trick to not feel too much pain is when you pull take a deep breath and as you pull breath out at the same time if you pay attention to the breathing it won't hurt as much! Make sure your skin is completely dry and use the powder .... use all the things that come in your beginners pack and order more the prepilation powder and pre him is there for a reason! The wax off and the slow grow is great ! Like others say you can use baby oil to get rid of the excess wax I mean it is something I can deal with for a couple hours than EVERYTHING tones down anyway. The people complaining about the wax just simply don't know how to use it or don't have enough patience anyway. Make sure you use gloves the first few times for bigger areas especially. I watched a couple YouTube videos on how to wax and I have been getting waxed professionally for a couple years now and I usually ask a lot of questions and pay attention to what she is doing. Anyway highly recommend this product oh and by the way I am Egyptian so my hair is SUPER THICK and grows back very fast and this wax does the trick. I would like to try other waxes later but this is what my wax lady has been using on me since I started waxing and it seems to do the job !

Great product but sticky mess when arrived
Product is great but arrived with tins bent and leaked all over so you have a sticky mess to deal with. But, if your willing to deal with that, then it's worth the price.
