Worth it! Simple but effective!

I bbq my turkey every year for Thanksgiving. The problem was always that I get a 20+ pound turkey, and the lid always rests on the top of the bird. I saw this kabob ring and knew it was what I needed. It worked perfectly. It raises the lid enough to keep it off of the top of my bird. The only down side is that the holes where the kabobs rest gave a little more vent, so the bird cooked a little quicker than I thought it should.. Not something that would change my review to less than 5 stars..

bought it for my Weber 22' kettle grill. It fits perfect. the best part is the skewers - thick metal, longest I have found and just work so well with this set up. I actually bought another unit, just to get another set skewers.

This is sturdy and best thing I've found for making kabobs.

Really just bought this to make my webber taller. Works great for that. Gives more head room for beer can chicken and thanksgiving turkey. The skewer aspect works ok but nothing special

I really like the attachment. The skewers are very functional and I really like the design. Fits like a glove and I don't need to remove it often. Time will tell on how they hold up.

On the very first use the paint on the ring actually caught fire and fell off. I used 5 pieces of cedar with no accelerant as charcoal like I always do. My Weber is 5 years old and has never lost any paint. I reached out to the manufacturer and send the pictures and crickets...it isn't a lot of money but the manufacturer or Amazon needs to stick by the product.

Weber used to make similar product but unfortunately it was discontinued. The ring fits tight and sits sturdy. Most important you can bbq with lid on. My only wish the skewers were a bit wider. Other than that it's really good and gets the job done.
