Pyure Organic Stevia All-Purpose Blend Sweetener, 16 Ounce (Pack of 6)

After giving up sugar because I was prediabetic, I started sampling various artificial sweeteners to see if anything could modify my wife's bold coffee to something more palatable for me. Unfortunately most of the artificials have some type of bad press or warnings written about them. They also don't taste as pure as sugar, often having a medicinal after taste to deal with.So I started exploring different varieties of natural stevia. Most of them were more expensive than the artificials but that made sense to me as long as it was going to be a safer risk long term for my health. Many of them were strongly flavored when initially opened up but the potency declined dramatically as it became older and you got to the bottom of the container.The first Pyure Organic Stevia I ordered came in a small snap-top plastic container. The container helped keep the remaining product sealed tightly and I didn't notice the dramatic drop off in potency that I had seen in other brands. Then I noticed that you could also buy it in these heavy plastic bags for a cheaper price, about $8.00 for a 16 ounce bag (from this vendor). So now I buy the bags and pour them into the snap-top container and get the best of both worlds, cheaper product and more consistent potency. It works!

I have used a number of different brands of Stevia over the years. I had settled on a brand I liked but it was on the pricey side. When I discovered this brand, I decided to try it. It works great! My main use is baking my own food / breakfast bars. Additionally, I have used it in making cheese cakes and ice cream. It really helps get sugar out of your life.I love this product and decided to purchase a larger quantity for a bigger discount. Now I have a reason to love the company. I placed my order for six 16 oz pouches over the Thanksgiving Holiday. They could not fill the entire order because the demand was high. They contacted me! They sent four of the 16 oz pouches along with two 10 ounce tubs for my inconvenience with a promise to send the other 2 16 ounce pouches the following week. They did just that.What a wonderful act of customer service! They reached out to me and sent extra product! Wow!I would rate the product and company higher if I could.

I originally ordered this sugar from Costco in a large 9.7 ounce bag for pennies on the dollar. Costco no longer sales this item and I researched to find this product on Amazon. PYURE is a great Stevia product, but it really was not worth $75. for six 16 ounce bags. Great product buy overly priced.

My favorite Stevia product as it sweetens without leaving an aftertaste.
