We had four 150w halogen flood lights uplighting the front of our home, at least once a year the glass lens would shatter in one of them requiring a trip to the local big box store to buy a replacement unit just so we could switch out the glass. I guess we would have kept doing this except that the replacement halogen light is not available locally now and only sold online so it was time to look at the alternatives and I’m glad I did. This light is very well made, it’s smaller (thinner) than the old light but it’s heftier and made with better materials, the cover looks like it could take a bullet which is a plus here with Texas hail.The replacement was painless, a little wiring and no need for any additional purchases as it screwed straight into the old lithonia outlet box.The light itself is brighter and cleaner than the old halogen lights, it’s still warm but not as yellow. If you’re replacing wall wash lights then these are the perfect brightness and color, I wouldn’t go any higher than 15w for this application.One last thing, our old lights combined used 600 watts, these use 60w combined which makes me happy.Update: still going strong, no issues at all.

I bought (5) of these lights at the recommendation of a co-worker who also bought some. I previously had 75W halogen up-lights and hated to turn them on at night because of the amount of energy they used, the frequency that the bulbs burnt out and how hot they got. I really know very little about installing lights and was somewhat apprehensive to try installing these myself. However I thought I would give it a try after reading some of the reviews on ease of installation. I installed all 5 of my lights in less than an hour. It was very easy. Turn the breaker off, unscrew the base of the old light from the wall so you have access to the wiring. You will see a black, white and green wire. Unscrew the plastic nuts that connect the old light fixture black, white and green wires to the wiring coming out of the wall. Then connect the black, white and green wires from your new light to the black, white and green wires coming out of the house.The new LED lights don't come with the round base that hold the fixture to the wall so I had to use the existing one. I had one minor problem, my pre-existing halogen base was 1" and the new LED lights has a 1/2 " stem so they were not compatable. I had to run up to Home Depot and buy 1/2 '" x Close conduit nipple and a female adapter end to get the new lights to fit in the old base. (It is the silver piece in the photo). These pieces were about $2 for each fixture. After I got these pieces the new LED light fixture installed easy into the old base.I now run these new LED lights every night. They are brighter than the old lights and look better too.

Yellow light 3000k, almost very close to my previous 150 watt halogen flood lights. Easy to install. My electrician wanted $35 in labor per light to install and I did it myself in 20 mins. Ordering 9 more to complete the set. Comes with 5 year warranty! What else you want?Update 10/5/18: Installed all 10. Works beautifully and bright enough! Love them!

I was replacing a low voltage flood for my 17' x 70' dog run. I needed a little more light and after searching for a replacement I chose the 3000 15W Outdoor LED Flood Security Light. This light is very powerful and lights my dog run and my back and neighbors yards. My only complaint is it would be nice if it had a side shield to keep from shining into my neighbor's yards. It's well made and easily installed onto a correct electrical box and fittings.

Solid construction, gives off a good amount of light. Have this mounted illuminating a small billboard outside in some pretty harsh weather. So far so good. My only concern is that when the light finally fails, the bulb cannot be replaced. The entire assembly will be junked and then replaced which seems wasteful. Will have to see how long it lasts.

We use these LED Security Flood Lights for our HOA as we replace the halogen and filament bulbs. The energy savings on these lights are so great it is worth replacing the complete fixture just for normal bulb replacement of the old fixtures.These lights have to Color Temperature of 3,000 for warm white. This makes them ideal for the landscape lighting for walls and trees since it does not wash out as the "daylight" 5,000 bulbs do.We have done repeat buys of this product so we have years of experience with it.

I was surprised to see how small this light is. We are using it to light up our company sign out by the road. The sign is 10' w x 7' h sitting on the ground and the light is installed about 7' in front of it about 8" off the ground. It lights up the sign very well with good coverage. I'm glad I didn't opt for the 30w light. I think it would've been too bright for this application. Build quality is there. For such a small light, it has some heft to it. We've been using it for about 3 months now and I'm very satisfied with our purchase.

Excellent exterior LED spotlight to accent the ceiling. Easy to install . It does not come with a backplate. I used the plate I had before on the previous exterior spotlight. I like that it is LED and gives the same brightness using less wattage . Excellent price and quality since I couldn’t find what I wanted at Home Depot. I was looking for something small and nor massive.
