QD is stable, but over all a little loose.
This is fine for a magnifier. QD is rock solid, but the flip to side has a bit of play when down. Not much, and not enough to effect eye box, but definitely not usable for a flip down zeroed optic. This is totally sufficient for a magnifier on a zeroed optic though. Not too tough to flip the magnifier up or down. Doesn't "click" into place at all, but it is firm. For the price, it seems great quality.Not sure what the little wire ring is for though.Overall it seems a little over-built for the play when down, but I definitely don't feel like it will break any time soon. Very sturdy.
