Works well
This USB hdmi extender works great so far. Audio is great. Video quality is excellent. I was very impressed with that. Connectivity was a breeze, I had no issues at all. Very good price point. My husband and I are happy with this purchase. I would recommend this product to others.

Works as specified, not useful for critical applications like gaming or video
Works as described, I see green dots all over the screen some times and gets recovered with ethernet connection reset. Not meant for critical applications such as gaming or watching movies. Good enough for my use case (for computer monitor)The USB ports works only for mouse/keyboard, not working for camera or usb headphones.

Working great, but getting artifacts and lines after 6 months of use.
So far this device is working great.. It's been about 6 months. I've tried using different HDMI cables of different quality, Cat6 cabling, Cat6 shielded, Cat6 Riser, Plenum... I have tried everything but artifacts don't go away. It has to be a power issue. I am using this for CCTV monitor extensions. Out of DVR to device input is 3' high quality HDMI cable. Out of the passthrough HDMI I have a 10' High quality HDMI cable for the head end. Cat6 50' connected to the remote side. High quality 3' HDMI cable to monitor. Artifacts.. It worked perfectly for 3-4 months.. then it started showing degradation.. Nothing has changed, nobody messes with the wiring. I removed it and staged it on a lesser scale, meaning, just used a 25' cable and laid everything on a table with different monitors to troubleshoot, and still has artifacts. I ordered 3 or 4 of these I think.. when I change out the device, artifacts go away. So, its either the integrity of the device or the power supply is crap.. I have ordered so many of these types of devices from other suppliers for 3 to 4 times as much $$$ and the same thing ALWAYS fails... the power supply. It appears it's the same thing with this device. Will try getting a replacement. It's hard to beat the price on this for what it does. An HDMI passthrough along with USBx2 and HDMI for $70??? That's dirt cheap. But it would be nice if it lasted longer than 6 months.

USB stopped working
Worked fine for few months on my cctv DVR. Next time I had to go retreive some footage the usb(mouse) wasnt working. Leaves me in a predicament as I committed to those camera wires going to the basement.

Awesome KVM switch for the price.
This is a awesome KVM switch especially for the price. It's Build quality is pretty good. It doesn't have small amounts on it like some of the other switches that are a tiny bit more expensive than it. And also has a shorter distance than the others but it is also the cheapest. It worked immediately with no problems and it has good picture quality and so far my customer has no complaints about it. Totally worth it if you're doing short runs.

Works very well. Make sure you're using a proper HDMI tv/monitor
I was a bit concerned at first because there were some mentions of artifacting in other reviews. So here is my assessment having "rolled the dice".First, make sure you are using a proper HDMI monitor. (At first I tried using an older DVI-only monitor and got significant disruption to the signal. I was using an HDMI-to-DVI adapter, but that is a very hacky thing to do since they are different protocols.)When I tried it on a TV and/or monitor with proper HDMI input, it worked "very well". I've tested it out on a RPG game running on a workstation on the other side of the house (using CAT5 cables of I'm guessing ~50ft) to see how it handles demanding graphics, and it has very light artifacting. Specifically, if I look at the monitor less than 1ft away, I can see a small number of pixels flickering randomly for a small fraction of a second. But sitting 2ft away or more, and I can't even see them.I took an image of my monitor and at one moment in time, and I think I can spot 5 pixels being disrupted, which you can see in the red boxes I added. Again, they flicker on/off so fast, and so randomly, that you don't notice unless you're looking for it less than 1ft away. I expect that if I used CAT6+ cables, then there would be even less artifacting. As someone who doesn't intend to use the workstation for entertainment, this artifacting is perfectly acceptable -- my workstation is big and noisy, and I am glad to be able to keep it from from where I work. And even if I were to use it for gaming/entertainment, I would not personally be dissatisfied.I also discerned absolutely no time lag with the USB connections. So overall I am very pleased with this product.
