Pioneers of Psychology: A History

This book is very easy to read, and most importantly FUN to read. The authors really go in depth explaining the amazing lives of the pioneers of psychology mentioned in the book. These men and women have molded the field into what it is now. If you have ever asked yourself, why do we study this in Psychology?, this book will answer that question. Most enjoyable textbook I have ever had to buy.

I know the description said what condition it was in (may have highlighted stuff, etc) and I paid for what I got but the heavy highlighting everywhere was overwhelming, esp because the colors weren't light or easy to visually dismiss.Plus side- Quick shipping

really really interesting! A lot of information, but the authors put everything in context, providing also a "profile" of the pioneers of psychology (life, temperament, character, etc.), which makes this book really easy to read and study.

Received book in OK condition.Content-wise, some chapters are fun to read, lots of applications and definition.However, most chapters are absolutely horrendous, just bores me to death. When I can't sleep at night, I read this so I can fall asleep.Would not read this again after the lecture is over.

This book helps student for better understanding psychology, if you want more the keys thinker of psychology you will in this book. Brilliant.

Boring but was needed for class

The book is good, but until the publishers make these book available on iBooks i will give them 1 star. I hate carrying around bulky books, especially since I have to take public transit for 3 hours a day (round trip).
