PedifixBunion Regulator, Left Small

So far, it seems to be working. I am really worried about getting bunions because I'm built exactly like my mother and her bunions are scary. I don't wear high heels or tight/narrow shoes, but I don't want to take any chances, so as a precaution, I've been using these PediFix bunion regulators for about a year. So far, so good. My right foot looked liked it was in the very earliest stages of developing a bunion, but that hasn't progressed at all since I started using this appliance. I only keep them on for a few hours a day, in the evening while watching TV. I can't sleep with them on because if left on more than 4-5 hours, my whole foot starts to ache. No bunion development after a year of use, so I'm happy.

In the middle of the night some time last week I woke up in excruciating pain. The big bone/joint of my big toe hurt to the touch and I felt like crying. I attempted to get up to walk to my bathroom so I could pop a couple Ib profen. Well, that turned out to be WAY harder than it sounds. Could barely walk. Same goes for the next day, and the next day after that, and probably after that. I thought it was a bunion, upon research and finding out my dad has one too. These babies are mainly hereditary. It slowly got better within about a week, which is when I got my bunion regulator. It's still a little tender but I am wearing this to bed. It isn't too uncomfortable at all, it just takes some time getting used to this "thing" around your foot. But I definitely recommend this product, as I can see it clearly pushing my toe in the direction that I want it to be. If this is a bunion problem, hopefully this realigns me and stretches out all those tendons like I want it to!

Last year I developed foot pain in the big toe joint (bunion area) so severe that I would sometimes be momentarily unable to walk. A podiatrist directed me to buy this bunion regulator. I was dubious that this little contraption could cure my foot pain, but it really worked! I wore it, only at night while sleeping, for about 2 or 3 months. By the end, pain was gone. Once in a while I get another flare-up, and one night's use of the regulator fixes it. BTW, no one should wear this except when preparing to go to sleep. If you walk on it, it will certainly break. If you do not walk on it, it will last for months if not years.

My feet are size 6 and I have the small ones with me. I've just received the product today and have had it on for quite some time, like more than an hour. Well the instructions did say to put it on for at max 30 minutes initially but it's really comfortable on me. So far I've no pain problems with it. They don't exactly straighten my big toes back to its original state but they help brace them to a better and more comfortable position. If there's one thing I don't like it would be the way they space my big toes far off from my other toes. But for a price like this I'm really happy with it. Getting a bunion splint isn't exactly cheap nor fairly available here in my country and buying it here is like a steal!

I can't wear it all night. Not sure if it is worsening my bunion or if it my bunion is getting worse for other reasons and it is just a coincidence. Could do with softer padding on the bunion side. Not sure how the manufacturer could accomplish this, but it would work better if it could pull the big toe away from the heel at the same time it is pulling it away from the other toes. At least it was not expensive and worth a shot.

Nice that I can get these on line because they eventually wear out but they do last a very long time. I had foot surgery and have used it since surgery when my foot get a little out of whack. Same brand my doctor gave me at a fraction of the price.

This is the only thing that works for my bunions. I had bunion surgery on my left foot, and the big toe started to turn in again after a few months. I wear this at night, and my toe is straight again when I get up. I put a large sock over it to make it more comfortable for me and my husband.

I've developed a bunion. This helps keep my big toe in the proper position, at least while I'm in bed. I'm a woman, I wear a size 7 or 7.5 shoe size and the size small is a comfortable fit. My local pharmacy only carried a medium size. I was so happy to find the perfect size for me here.
