Lustrous dark steel grey faux pearls are embellished with hand crafted, artisan made black lampwork glass rondelles, a unique ornate silver bead and antiqued silver plated bead caps and beads. This necklace is a contrast in colors and finishes. The pearls have a softly gleaming luster - the lampwork glass beads have a matte finish. The silver beads are both shiny and antiqued. The colors range from the light reflecting metallic silver surfaces to the medium steel grey and into the dark black of the lampwork beads. This play of light and dark, shiny and matte, and varying sizes and shapes of beads results in a necklace with tremendous visual appeal. The glass pearls vary in size from 12mm at the front of the necklace, to 10mm at the back of the necklace. The center silver bead is gorgeous! It is an ornate hand crafted silver plated bead with a finish that has areas of both shiny and matte finishes. It is 14x10mm. The black lampwork glass rondelles have a matte finish with a slight iridescence and are 8x6mm. This necklace is 17.5" long and is closed with a sterling silver clasp.
