Update: It is such a well made rug that I decided I can live with the colors.It is well made without any smell at all. I really liked the rug pictured for its colors though. The rug I received did not have the same look as it has VERY bright orange, red, yellow, and teal mostly. Not the colors needed for my classroom.

Price wise this carpet was very affordable. It exceeded my expectations. The color and quality really made this a perfect grouptime carpet!!

The picture doesn't begin to do this product justice. This is a BIG full sized rug. It's 6 feet x 8 Feet & 4 inches. The circles are big enough for 20 average sized children up to age 6 to sit in with a bit of arm room, not all cramped together. It's not at all thin & "cheap" looking. It is made of high standard materials and is comfortable enough to keep the kids in their circles long for a good book and it would be okay for a napping area for a few children as well. If you buy this the kids will use it because someone actually found a way to make a rug interesting. The product is much better than I would have expected.

While this rug isn't the most comfortable thing in the world, it works well to keep my students in their personal spots. The rug cleans up easily with soap and water, and blotting with towels (mine is in the art room), and is easily rolled up and carried/transported when necessary. Students love the bright colors and always enjoy picking which spot they want that day. The colors are as bright as the images on my screen and have been very colorfast.

Beautiful rug and perfect for 3 year old circle/story times. The rug is heavy enough that it laid flat right away. It is durable (daily vacuuming here) but is still nice and soft enough to sit on. Only wish is that it had a better non-slip backing to it. It can slide around on the tile floor. We have moved a bookshelf on to one side to help anchor it better

This is a thick carpet. It is bright with all the primary colors. There are large circles that your kiddos can use to define their individual spaces. It handles spills and drops of food without staining. It is a bit pricey for your classroom, but the adage "you get what you pay for" works in this instance.

This is a great classroom rug. The colors are awesome! The back is lined to so it doesn't slide around on my floor. It's not super thick, but I like that b/c it's easy to keep clean. The edges are well done and it's going to last a long time in my classroom. The kids love it. Overall, I love it!

I ordered this rug for my son’s bedroom and it has exceeded my expectations. The size is more than generous and I appreciate the thickness of it. Over the years, I’ve noticed that kids’ rugs are often incredibly thin, requiring thick padding underneath to offer any comfort at all. This one does not need that - only some of that non-stick material depending on your flooring. And while the rug itself is thick, it has easy to clean short pile.The thing I appreciate most about this rug, is that while it is certainly designed for a child’s space, it’s not in-your-face childlike. This will transition easily as your kid grows and his/her interests change.
