ESV Large Print Value Thinline Bible

This is a nice Bible. The text is not giant but definitely big enough for me to read. The cover looks good. I like the Celtic Cross design and the soft touch leather feel. It is fake leather but for the price that should be understood. I have read KJV, NKJV, NASB and a few others. I personally feel the ESV is a good translation right after the NASB of 1977. That one is my first recommendation but it is getting hard to find. This one has not as much in the footnotes/cross references but it is a thin line. It really is small considering the text size. But that's why I bought it. I would recommend this if thin line is what you are looking for.

Great full sized bible at an inexpensive press. The cover gives it a unique manly look.

Any bible is 5 stars in my book ! The esv translation is a very good translation for some one beginning their walk with CHRIST or someone who has been walking in CHRIST for a while. Easy to understand the word of GOD but it is our choice to live that word. Great leather and designs are also pretty cool

The large print really helps, and it's the right size for me. I like it.

The ESV has become my favorite translation of the Bible. I purchased an ESV Bible several years ago and wanted another one to leave at my office so I decided to order this one in the Olive color. It's beautiful, the color as well as the design. The cover is not as soft and thick as my previous version and I was disappointed with that. My first ESV is a charcoal color and the cover has a sewn outline around the edges. This one doesn't. The cover is glued over mostly inflexible material that feels like thin cardboard. This is my biggest disappointment with this newer design. It's a thin/slim Bible but has a larger print, around 11 pt, which is easier for my older eyes to read. My only other disappointment is that the words of Christ are not in red but this is a well made Bible that is extremely affordable. It's a great value and the Olive color is truly beautiful. I highly recommend this version to New Believers and Older Believers that may want a fresh look at Scripture. It's so easy to understand and in my opinion hasn't lost anything in translation when I compared it to the KJV.

Excellent Bible. Quality. I love ESV transmission of the Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic scripture translation. God picked it for me so He must love this transmission too. Highly recommended

This English standard version provides a simplistic approach to the narrative of the living word of God. It clarifies the complexities that exist within the KVJ version making it more comprehensible.

Para quem quiser começar a ler a Bíblia em inglês, esta é uma boa opção. A letra tem um tamanho bom e, consequentemente, a leitura é confortável. As páginas são brancas (o que eu considero ser um ponto negativo, pois refletem mais a luminosidade, cansado mais a vista!) e também são um pouquinho mais grossas do que as Bíblias tradicionais que temos em português. Fora isso, só tenho mais elogios. Vocabulário fácil de entender. Ótimo índice. Ainda conta com uma tabela de pesos e medidas e abreviações no final. Traz também um índice de temas para o caso de o leitor desejar encontrar versículos específicos para determinado tema. Simplesmente maravilhosa!

Well-bound, nice leather-like cover, the “olive” colour is darker than I expected, nearly black, but I like it and the engraved/embossed emblem is beautiful. This Bible lays flat, and is a nice size for personal use. Pages turn smoothly to look up any text. You can also download the ESV app to use on your mobile phone or tablet so you can enjoy reading on the go as well.
