This excellent tea-maker is also a work of art!
The quality of this Tea Tumbler is exceptional. From the quality of the materials, (double-walled glass and polished stainless steel end caps), it is obvious that this product is made to last. It doesn't leak, and HOT liquids stay HOT, and COLD drinks stay COLD! My co-workers are impressed, because my Tea Tumbler Is not only a great way to enjoy various beverages, but it is also a work of art. When I leave it on my desk, I always get comments like, "Wow, where did you get that?"Over the years, I have used various thermos-type containers, made of metal and/or plastic, but they never work well, and they just don't last. Now my Joy de Vie Tea Tumbler is the only product that I use. I'm also extremely impressed by "Cynthia", the company owner, who sent me e-mails both before and after I received my Tea Tumbler, to make sure that I'm 100% satisfied with their unique product. Tea Time
I was skeptical about purchasing this tumbler because of some bad reviews, however, I really love this tumbler. My co-workers also enjoy the aesthetics of this product. I had purchased a few for them as a gift. Other co-workers asked for the link to purchase this tumbler for themselves.The reason why I gave this 4 stars is because if a few reasons. 1. The cap is quite difficult to wash. It is also hard to remove the rubber to clean under it. Soap and water would get trapped. 2. I have to use teabags for my loose leaf teas as small particles come out from the larger holes of the strainer. Using teabags is actually recommended for easier cleaning. 3. There is some residue on the strainer that was hard to wash off. When trying to remove it, it just smeared and has stayed there since. I looked like glue but there was no glue elsewhere on the bottle. 4. My tea does not stay hot for more than 45 minutes. 5. It still burns my hands when hot water is poured into it but I am sensitive to heat.The pros of this product are: 1. Obviously the aesthetics is pleasing to the eye. I especially love the logo, "Joy De Vive". 2. Aside the caps, it is easy to clean, assemble, and dissemble. 3. The packaging is great. It's pretty sturdy. 4. I have yet to use it for smoothies but my co-worker had. The strainer is removeable. 5. There has not been any leakage. 6. It put smiles on my co-workers' faces just looking at it.*I did not receive a discount for my review. I wish I had as it was costly purchasing extra tumblers for my co-workers

So I like this tea infuser
So I like this tea infuser, I really do, but the tea leaves leak out around the strainer. Partly through the u-shaped tensioners that hold the basket in place and partly because there isn't the nest seal between the basket and the glass. I fixed the u-shaped leaks by putting some clear tape over them, seems to be working for now, but I still get a few floaters in my beverage.Otherwise the tea infuser is great. Don't drop it... My best friend did that to the one I gifted her as she was putting it in to the dishwasher and the outside glass layer cracked. Anyone know if there is a way to replace just the glass or the seals for the lids?The tea basket works great, it is quite large which allows more than enough water to flow through the tea and the double insulated glass helps keep the outside just warm enough to keep your hands warm, but keeps the tea piping hot inside. This is the first diffuser I bought, but I looked in to quite a few of them on amazon. This one by far had the smallest holes on the strainer for anyone who enjoys tea with smaller or broken leaves. I wanted double walled so that I could let my tea continue to steep on the way to work and not have to clean out the leaves at my desk. I also would recommend against the bamboo lids if you plan on using essential oils in your like I do with mine. I add a drop of lemon oil which can ruin plastic or wood that it comes in to contact with.Just remember... don't open the bottom lid when you're holding it with tea in it. You will burn yourself.

Disappointing.
The lid leaks and the tea strainer leaks out chunks of tea leaves. Not happy with this purchase! Going to see if it can be returned. Looks expensive but it clearly cheaply constructed. Disappointing
