I bought this lamp for my 95 yr old mother who is now confined to her bed after a fall and a long stay in hospital. She has an adjustable bed, and when her head is in the rasied position she cannot reach the switch for the small lamp on her bedside table as it is behind her.I bought this lamp as it can stand by the side of her bed, the light can be directed to make it comfortable for her to read, and it has a simple ON-OFF switch which she can reach easily.It was easy to assemble, and the heavy base allows it to stand without the possibility of falling over. The adjustable nodes made it easy to position the light in just the right place so that it shines on her book and not in her eyes.My mother really likes this new lamp, and that means that I like it too.

Floor standing angle poise lamp which does the job but not as sturdy as I would have liked. The base is reasonably heavy which is a good feature but I would have liked the main column to be a larger diameter and heavier. If it's tucked out of the way behind an armchair and not subject to any knocks then it's OK.I suppose in this price bracket it's acceptable.

This lamp is a true gem. The design is sleek, the build is sturdy, and the lighting is just right. It effortlessly complements any space without the need for clichés. Highly recommended!

I brought this as a reading lamo to fit in quite an akward space with a low, sloping roof. I was hoping that the adjustable nature of the top part of the lamp would mean I could get some extra light in that area, where I just wouldn't have been able to otherwise as there is not enough height for a standard floor lamp nor enough space for a table and desk lamp. This arrived yesterday and I noticed that the base was a good weight and the lamp itself was very easy to assemble, I ordered the E27 variant to utilise a couple of smart bulbs that I have also reviewed on Amazon. I was up and running inside 10 minutes and am very happy with the end result, recommend this product.

Very easy to assemble, stylish and robust. For us one of the biggest benefits is the fact that you can replace the bulb, unlike some LED lamps where you have to replace the whole unit.

Arrived beautifully packaged in perfect condition. Unpack it outside or you’ll have little bits of polystyrene all over the place.This is a lightweight copy of a ( 5 times more expensive) well known design classic but on inspection it’s rather flimsy. It looks like something it isn’t in other words. Corners have been cut. It also doesn’t have the full range of movement that the genuine article has. As stated elsewhere, it comes fitted with a 13 amp fuse when a 3 amp is perfectly adequate. For safety you should fit a 3 amp fuse.I’d say the colour of ours is anthracite. It was a doddle to build up, good fun actually. We are relatively pleased with this lamp although I would take issue with the build quality. It looks good but it won’t last forever.

Great value, good quality and adjustable floor standing reading lamp. You are only buying the structure, it does not come with a bulb, we used a 60w equivalent "cool light" LED bulb. Ultimately it is the bulb you choose to use that determibs the quality of the light. The stand and shade are great though.
