BlazePodReaction Training Platform Improves Reaction Time and Agility for Athletes, Trainers, Coaches, Physical & Neurological Therapists, Fitness Trainers, Physical Educators (6 Pods)

This is a great device and made to high quality. The design, app, rechargability, carrying case are all well built and easy to use.There are two membership models offered to use the device: a basic free membership and a paid one, which costs $8.33/month to $14.99/month, and is too much and users are not allowed to create their own programs without paying for some version of the pro membership.I would be much happier with the device on a free basis and be willing to paid $4.99 a month for Pro to access social and advanced training features. The product at a basic level just doesn't have enough usage depth to charge such high monthly fees on top of high product costs.

The product works great, the app is easy to use, accomplishes everything advertised to do, and I want for them to achieve. Mainly I wanted to share that my experience with customer service was the best I've had to date. I had a small issue with the charging base pod, I reached out to customer service via email and received a response within minutes on two separate occasions, once in the morning and even at night. They mailed a replacement within days, which was a first for me.

I charged these pods all day, and they were not working when I tried to use them. There were not directions enclosed. Not worth the money

Wow, these add a whole new dynamic to my exercises.From my 9 yr old girls team, to my college goal keepers, these are an incredibly useful tool.They work better if you are already a trainer, and have some idea of what you want to accomplish.Once I dove into the different modes, I started to program my own training activities, based on skill level.I hope to add my color changing light pods to my youtube page to help other coaches use these fully.Oh we stomp on these with cleats on and after a month still haven't broken one so... they are built well.

I bought the 6 pod set. A few things that are not perfect, but overall work well. Some issues:1) came with a charger base and cord, but no adapter to plug that it into the wall. This wouldn't be an issue if it could charge with a typical phone charger wall adapter, but it needs more amperage than these provide requiring an extra purchase of a larger adapter. Maybe going cheaper on the box that it comes in to provide a more complete charging solution would make more sense given how expensive this set is.2) Sensitivity to touches does not work well on soft surfaces. If sitting on a foam pad, or even a table that isn't totally solid, it often required very forceful hits to sense the touch.3) Connection works fine for me, but it does often require that I turn the bluetooth off, then turn it back on if I've closed the app and opened it again. I don't find this to be a problem, but it did take a few minutes to figure out that I needed to turn the bluetooth off, then open the app, then turn the bluetooth back on to get it to sense the pods again. Seems reliable, but not necessarily obvious.Programming the pods in a custom way is pretty simple and the overall performance of the pods has been pretty good. They don't work instantly, meaning some of the pods turn on a fraction of a second delayed from the others when they really are intended to all turn on simultaneously. I suspect this is a limit of a bluetooth connection, but in any event it really doesn't hinder the functionality of them at all in my opinion.Bottom line is that there are a few things about the Blazepods that I don't think are up to it's price tag, which is not unreasonable, but also not cheap. That said, Blazepods do provide a great way to get today's athletes engaged with their training and provide a great way to see improvement through accurately timed agility drills. I plan to also use them on the ice with hockey goalies for scanning and movement drills.

This is an amazing product. Use for my training, and also to play with my son so he can run around and develop coordination as well.

The Blazepod business model is criminal. You pay at least $300 for the minimum hardware only to realize you need to pay a monthly subscription to actually use it. The functionality provided without the subscription is an absolute joke, as you can't do very basic things. I believe the company is betting on you giving in and paying since you're already heavily invested.I got these pods as a present and was disappointed when I took the kiddos to the field to play. For the initial invest all you get is 4-6 plastic buttons that can be programmatically controlled to light up in a variety of colors in coordination. If this included the software to make this rather rudimentary hardware functional, I think the price, while still high, could be justified. The product itself is top-notch, but I can't see the value equaling the exorbitant cost for anyone other than professional trainers.*If anyone wants a business idea, selling this concept as a single package without a subscription would be killer. The demand is there, and this product could quickly be sold at a fraction of the cost. I'm honestly shocked Blazepods doesn't already have serious competition.

I liked the idea this product gave me . It was quite entertaining for all ages from children to adults. I give my blessings to thee.
