Attenuators reduce the full range of RF signals by a set amount. In "tuning" video distribution systems, it is often easier to over amplify the signals, then reduce them where desired. Screw these attenuator pads in-line with coax cable and reduce signal strength by rated amount. Try different combinations until you get the best picture quality. Use to balance signal strength from different sources.
