Whiteline kta216a for wrx fits forester 2009-13
I bought this kit for the ability to be able to adjust rear camber on my 2009 Subaru forester xt. I was finishing up the rear lift kit on my forester and I remember when I lifted my 08 outback there wasn’t a way to adjust the rear camber. Lucky this kit that’s also for the wrx fits the forester so I got it. It arrived right on time and I had two days to install before my appointment for alignment. Only hard part were that the lower nuts when removing on the old stock parts are extremely stuck. Even with wd40 sprayed several hours before removal they barely budged. Had to take a breaker bar and pipe to loosen them. I thought a high impact electric gun would work but it just rounded off the nuts. I had to go to a junkyard to get new used nuts to replace the ones I rounded. Other than that installation was fairly easy. To align the outer bolts with the eccentric bolt I just used a small 2 ton jack to compress the control arm/ strut. After that cam bolts went in smoothly. When I took the car to shop and they finished the job they said it helped them dial the camber to almost 0. The outback I first brought had -1.5 with a 1 inch rear lift. The forester had a 2 inch rear lift with subframe spacers. Overall pleased with the control arms they look great with the silver color more visible now with the lift from the rear.
