Nice tablet!
This tablet is a great value! The screen is big and clear, perfect for watching movies or browsing the web. It's also surprisingly snappy for the price. The battery life is decent, and it's lightweight and easy to hold. I mostly use it for casual browsing and streaming, and it does the job perfectly. If you're looking for an affordable tablet that can handle everyday tasks, this is a solid choice.

A Perfect Tablet for Daly Use
I purchased this as a gift for my 85-year-old cousin here and it's just too much tech for her, so I am always doing this and that with it, showing this and that, fixing goofs, and everything a good tablet usage is. So, I know all about this little gem!I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 with the S Pen, this Tab A7 has a touchscreen but no S Pen, just a regular touchscreen pen I use but I am an artist and needed the S7. This A7 is just a tad smaller, has the advantage of a headphone jack (my S7 does not!!!), and operates and performs just as well as its big brother. Terrific sound, gorgeous display, wonderful touchscreen, and is perfect for anyone that wants a fantastic tablet for general, daily use and at a great size and price. It works with any basic capacitive stylus and you can still do a lot with one of those but it is not included. It charges quickly, has a good length of use, and is an all-around great tablet. I am always on it even though I have my other one and other than the size and lack of an active stylus, you would never know the difference!

Good tablet
Very good for its price, almost everything works as advertised. Screen is good, has high resolution, sound is good too. 3 Gb of RAM is not always enough and sometimes it feels, but not very frequently. Camera is poor, but I would rather exclude camera at all - only front camera matters in tablets. The only significant problem I faced was Wi-Fi, connecting only to some of networks, but not all. For example, I have two networks at home and it can connect only to one. It sees only small portion of networks, and also does not see Wi-Fi hotspot from phone (however, it does connect to internet via bluetooth). However, if connected it kept signal well, much better then the phone. I'm still putting 5 stars because I don't believe you can find anything better for the price.

Tab A7 review and commparative review to Tab A 10.1 3 Gb
1 star is reserved for future update.Tab A7 review:I primarily use this tablet for reading and media consumption so thats what my experience will be from.Overall this is a great tablet in regards to its performance for reading and watching YouTube and movies. The screen size and display is great for watching videos, there is nothing fancy about it like the latest tab S series tablets but its gets the job done. In regards to reading the 1080p display and size of the screen is a joy to read off of. Coming from a 720p fire tablet 8, the letters look crisp and the screen real-estate is a major upgrade. The tablet is relatively light however it might be difficult to hold with one hand due to its size. The quad speakers on this tablet are loud and crisp so thats something I'm happy about since I feel more immersed in whatever I'm watching. The 3 gb of ram will get the job done if you don't have too many apps open (8 or more in my experience), even if you have a lot of apps running in the background the only noticeable difference would be a minor slow down when changing apps or opening a new app.The only real con which isn't a big deal is the storage on the tablet itself (32/64 gigs). If you're like me and have a ton of audio books, epubs, pdfs, and videos downloaded, I highly suggest spending a few extra bucks on a large capacity micro SD card. If you just stream videos, you should be fine on the amount of local memory.Overall I'd highly recommend this tablet, ESPECIALLY at the price of $180. If you are looking for something to simply watch YouTube or Netflix and maybe play some candy crush this is the tablet for you. If you are looking for an awesome budget upgrade from a fire tablet 7 or 8, I can't highly recommend this enough, this tablet is silky smooth and snappier compared to the fire 7/8. If you are a student that is looking for something more productive (note taking, excel, PowerPoint, writing on pdfs) i would not recommend this due to its lack of RAM and integrated stylus support, you're better off with the tab s6 lite/tab 6/ tab s5eā------ā-----------ā---------------Compartive review:I had recently bought a Samsung tab A 10.1 3 gb variant (2019) and I've had it for about 3 weeks. I just recently found about this tablet and was curious about the differences so I went ahead and bought it due to its low price ($180) compared to the $200 i payed for the tab A.Biggest difference i noticed immediately was the speakers. WAY clearer sound and louder, due to the quad speaker set up. It leaves the muffled dual speakers in the tab A in the dust. I'd say the A7 has great sound quality for the price point.Compared to the Tab A, the A7 has a similar screen and a bit higher resolution, but the difference isn't significant. One thing I noticed was that the tab A had a bit of a red tint compared to the A7, I couldn't really tell unless I had the screens right next to each other. The A7 battery capacity is also a big bigger compared to the tab A, its slightly noticeable.

Excellent for my 8 year old!
I bought this for my 8 year old daughter's birthday. She originally had a Galaxy Tab A Kids Edition. Nothing was wrong with it (aside from a cracked screen), but we decided to upgrade her to a newer tablet. She mostly uses it for games and YouTube.Pros:Amazing and huge Screen4 speakers that get super loudAble to move apps on SD card with new updateUSB-C portSuper responsive to touch (even with a glass screen protector on)Samsung Kids is a great addition to making the tablet more kid-friendlyCame with a 64 gb SD card so I didn't have to buy oneSet up is easy (but maybe it's because we only own Samsung products)Cons:Battery life only seems slightly better than the Tab ATakes 4 hours to chargeBlue Light Filter is terrible imo (works better on Galaxy phones than non-Amoled tablets)Some apps exclusively use Internal Storage so I'm glad I bought the 64 GB versionSlight lag, but only happened once or twice when I played around on the tabletAll in all, this was a great buy for my daughter's needs.
