Great design, perfect size for a cat
I like the fit, material, close tight bell, and the safety clip or latch. First one lasted a year on my rugged out door barn cat. The bell keeps him from getting birds, but he still can get mice, and gophers. Now buying my second one just so it looks better because he rolls in the dirt. Highly recommended!

very nice collar!
This is a really nice collar. There are no sharp edges where the seams are sewn together. Any other collar I've purchased in the past, I've always taken an emery board and filed the pointy edges cause is gotta be uncomfortable for a cat! This was not necessary with this particular collar! It's a safety collar that will unhook if the cat gets caught on anything but it's not so weak that the cat could get it off himself with his paw. I left the jingle Bell on because it's very secure (I did try to get it off but I couldn't) and now I realize I like being able to hear my kitty coming in case I'm looking for her.

I highly recommend this collar if you need a breakaway one for ...
I gave this collar to one of my cats with extremely long fur. She has had no problems with it getting stuck on her fur, unlike every other collar she's had, and once adjusted to the correct size it has not given her any problems. When she got into a fight with one of my other cats they pulled on it and it came off, so the breakaway feature works well. It hasn't come off of her in any other circumstances, so it will not simply fall off. I highly recommend this collar if you need a breakaway one for your cat.

Not necessarily safest option for Houdini cat
I bought this for my very energetic rescue cat. I placed her microchip tag on the strap with a key ring (odd it doesn't come with one, but okay). The first night the cat got it off. Wasn't there to witness it so not sure how. But the outer strap was pulled so there was about an inch of slack, and the inner portion (which hugs the cats neck) was accordingly tightened about an inch. I readjusted it and tried again. the next evening I caught my cat in action, yanking the tag with her paws such that she got it and the outer strap in her mouth. She continued to pull it so tight she began to wheeze. Eventually I assume it would have popped off (like it had the night before) but I am no longer a believer that these are the safest option for her. Also, if the cat can pull it off in a matter of minutes then the purpose of the collar (to alert someone who she belongs to if she escapes outdoors) is not met. I've never had a problem with the buckle strap kinds. I'm still rating this a 4 because there is nothing wrong with the quality, just the design

Purrrrfect!
These are the best collars we have found for our cats. They stay on during play but break away as intended in other situations. The bell has a nice sound to it so we can find our stealthy furballs. The colors are pretty without being an annoying pattern. They are also not as stiff as some of the other nylon collars we have used. They form around our cats necks nicely. They don't seem bothered by them at all.

Great collar for kitties
Love these collars for my outdoor kitty. She has kept it on and the color stays nice. Our last one lasted about 2 years before she had snagged it up scratching and grooming so it was dull and needed replacing. Definitely get your money worth, and I don’t want to pay a ton for a collar either so this is perfect.

but he had the bad habit of ripping it off all of the time
I had purchased a different brand of cat collar for my cat originally, but he had the bad habit of ripping it off all of the time. I appreciate the safety clasp on this one (all collars should have it) but he hasn't used it to rip it off! I think this is because this collar can be extended longer than his old one which just barely fit. He is a large cat at 15lbs and not over weight. This has functioned perfectly. My only complaint if I had one, would be that I don't care for the bell on the collar. It drives both myself and the cat nuts, so I used a pair of pliers to remove it.

Average.
In about 36 hours my cat had gotten the collar off. Now, I am no connoisseur of pet collars and I really have only experienced them with dogs, but I wish it hadn't been that easy for her to remove it.Nice color though, seems like good quality. The bell is not easy to remove. I took it off because she is an indoor cat (I bought the collar to put her tags on for a plane trip I am taking in a couple weeks) and I didn't want the jingling all the time. I had to remove it with pliers. Are there better collars out there? Maybe? As I say, I am no connoisseur of pet collars. But I think this one will suite its purpose of a temporary collar I want to keep my kitty tagged as we travel.

Well designed
Good unsnap force calibration however the bell might get some cats crasy
