If your little dog loves "squeakies", like my little Souci did, these are the one toy to have... They were her favorite, treasured like gold! It's really tough to find a flexible little squeaky ball small enough for tiny dog's mouths... We found and started with something similar at Petco. It was a regular round, colored vinyl ball, but the squeaker was totally out and even removed in less than five minutes... Then I stumbled onto this "Zanies" brand. Cost way more, individually, at the mall pet store. They're a softer, more supple quality latex vinyl, and slightly flattened, not quite round. They fit so well in her mouth and were so well made that even after the squeaky shortly got killed by my little rabble-rouser, it was still eminently her very best "favorite" toy... And it would take weeks for her to gnaw it enough to where the vinyl would begin to tear underneath to where the squeaker might come out... They're that we'll made. (Your squeaker might last longer!). No matter. That meant it was time to get out another! It's great they come in a package of six! It got so Ming, another little one, who absolutely hates anything vinyl or rubbery, would get jealous, grab it and growl... They're just that much fun. Highly recommended! These are the best "balls" ever!!!Our dog has had these since Christmas (4 months) and plays with them every single day for at least an hour or two. There is not a hint of damage even though the rubber is very soft. Honestly I don't know how they are so hardy when they are so soft (they have no filling. Just soft flexible rubber). They still look perfect!The squeakers are extremely loud so don't let your dog play with them if you are trying to watch a movie!Be warned, the hole in the bottom for the squeaker does let in quite a bit of puppy spit after an hour or so of play so keep that in mind if you decide to play too!They also easily roll on their edge as they are flattened top and bottom, in shape. This means that they will roll under all of your furniture, which means that our dog "tells" us about that every few minutes, and we have to fish them out. So not a relaxing toy for dog parents, but you will have a very happy dog!These are far superior in my opinion, to every other dog ball out there. I hate that tennis style balls get strands hanging off them after a while.If you like the kooky faces on these, check out the Multipet eggs for dogs too, as they are similar in appearance (although larger and egg shaped and cloth covered)UPDATE: We have had these for a year now and they are still my dogs favorite ball! We now have another puppy and she loves playing with them too. One dog is a 22lb Poodle/Chihuahua/Mystery breed, the other is a 10lb Chihuahua/Poodle/Daschund puppy. I love that these balls are soft enough so that the puppy can easily pick them up. I throw two balls together (or they fight about who gets to pick it up) about 100 times a day. I have to hide them during movie time, although our oldest dog groans and grumbles a lot about that! All squeakers are working and NO damage at all after 12 months of very vigorous play (we have a huge box of toys that need medical attention because our dogs love shredding stuffed toys. So these balls are tough!!

I have had four dogs over more than 30 years and I used to be able to buy these as a packman model, but now they are these zany faces. All my dogs have chosen these as their favorite toys. My current dog pulls the stuffing out of all other toys and chews up frisbees. But these have lasted her for 2 years. I'm buying more because I can slip these into old socks to make a great tug of war toy or I have a ball with holes in it that I can slip these into one of the holes and create a new ball that squeaks. Zanies bounce well so make great toys for chasing inside the house and out. I use them as toy incentives for training agility because it is my dogs favorite toy and it fits well into my pocket. My first dog loved to "rescue" these in the swimming pool because it is the right shape and size for easy biting and it floats.

2nd Edit: Against our better judgement, we decided to order these balls for our Furbaby again to see if the quality was any better. To our surprise, no bleeding of color and the squeakers last A LOT longer than the previous order we received. She love these balls so much, I'm glad we gave it another try. I'm about to order another set of balls for her for Christmas and will put in another review then.Edit: Our third order was not what we expected. As you can see from the review below that the first two orders were rated 5 stars. When we ordered the balls the third time around the quality was terrible. The colors were bleeding into our dogs mouth. There's a big "China" stamp on it now compared to before. The squeaker breaks instantly. All in all, we will never order these balls again.First review: Our mini dachshund absolutely love these. This is our second time ordering Zanies 6-pack for her and she never gets tired of it. The squeaker does break pretty quick, but she still likes to chew on it. The latex does not rip easy like the other latex balls bought at Petco with the faces. You wont be disappointed.

My puppy loves this and hasn't killed the squeek in months. It also has a fun unpredictable trajectory when thrown . Simple but satisfying toy for a puppy.

Love at first squeak

This is my second set - bought the first set 3 years ago and my sharp toothed dachshund has only managed to destroy ONE from the original set. I'm replacing as the old set is just starting to get thin, one or two have lost their squeak. Considering that dog toys usually last a couple hours around here, at most, these are obviously much more durable. I might worry that a very large dog could swallow these, they are more appropriate for small dogs. Soft on their mouth, safe for their teeth, worth every penny.

Exactly the Zanies I have bought elsewhere before. Not always easy to find. The squeaker doesn't always last, and the toy could easily be chewed apart or even swallowed by a bigger dog. But these toys are perfect for my tiny dogs.

This product never disappoints. This is the one toy my dachshund won’t destroy and absolutely loves. Endless hours of entertainment for her.
