Does this work on cook top of a stainless steel gas range?

It works on a glass Cooktop.The modern ones operate on electricity with a glass surface with no nooks & crannies that is easy to clean.If you still have a gas bill, that is used to heat your hot water or for your Heat/AC system.Gas is odorless therefore the gas company adds a smell to it so you can detect a gas leak, smells like rotten eggs.Sometimes, the gas company provides you with a piece of paper you can scratch to smell rotten eggs to know what a gas leak smells like!If you ever smell a gas leak, call 911 from a neighbor's house (in the US) before anything explodes.I pay $8/month to just keep the light on for my water heater but the utility company pays me back $8/month if I agree to have my gas/electricity to be cut off in case of emergencies, like some weather snafu, like a hurricane is coming or some heat wave in the summer or snow storm in the winter and they cannot keep up with the higher demands for electric/gas power so they cut me off.I have a fireplace and access to wood to use ambers to cook chestnuts and potatoes in aluminum foil.Watch out for potatoes that you cook in ambers or you'll end up with something that looks like charcoal.I have candles for light and plenty of water bottles in case the sewer system gets overflowed with a flood due to weather and the sewer water sips back up into your water system.Besides having bottled water from a reliable natural source to drink or cook with it, fill up your bathtubs/buckets/Rubbermaid storage containers with clean water to use to wash and to use to flush down your toilet if your sewer system is not functioning properly.Once I got some water leak that I did not even notice until a neighbor told me I had a water geyser on my lawn and water was running down the street so I had a bursting water pipe and needed to call a plumber to shut down the water and replace the pipes, then I saw my water bill with a huge amount like several thousands of dollars which I refused to pay as ¾ of the cost was for recycling the water in the sewer system down to the sewer recycling plant, which I did not use as my water leak went down the street into a nearby lake.My monthly water bill is usually like $25-$30 not thousands of dollars.When I refused to pay the high water bill, the Greenville South Carolina water company cut my water off so I had to go down the street to get a bucket of water from the lake to flush my toilets (I have 3 full bathrooms). I have a YMCA membership so I went there to take showers and wash my hair.I got water to cook with or drink from my grocery store.My then future ex-husband was pissed off because he could not get his morning shower and did not want to drive 10 minutes away to the YMCA so he drove 20 minutes away to downtown and went to the water company and paid the outrageous several thousand dollars bill so we got water again. Later on, after I learned that fact, I got legal proof from the plumber (with a $700 bill to get new water pipes) and witnesses' accounts/affidavits from neighbors about my bursting water pipes so the water company reimbursed me the bill before I could sue them.If you get gas/electricity cut off, you might want to get a pot/chimney/fireplace crane, very 18/19th Century.Besides using the ambers to cook chestnuts (if you want more fun, don't slit the chestnuts so when they're done, they'll explode and skedaddle all over the place so the first person who can catch it gets to eat it!!).A crane will gently boil great soup and stews (learn how to peel and cut fresh veggies), making you forget you don't have electricity.Nowadays, fireplace cranes are available to buy them online but you'll need a good handyman or a fireman person to install it and drill it into your brick fireplace.(Note: check out SpitJack.com they might still have some fireplace cranes).The New Orleans Metropolitan Area has 1,167,764 people according to the latest Census but during Hurricane Katrina, some stupid people (16,000 of them) refused to evacuate and had to get on their rooftops to escape stinky smelly sewage water getting up everywhere, even people gathering and getting trapped in the Superdome were not provided with water so the Superdome became a Hellhole and some unspeakable horror with overwhelming stench, people peed/crap on the floor and fell like animals.You could get one diaper for your baby and then have to scrap it off to reuse it!!If you're getting me only one diaper for my baby, I won't reuse that, my baby will go bare bottom like African babies in tribes in Africa just going naked and not using diapers, peeing and crapping wherever they stand. If you're accusing me of child pornography because my baby is naked, you're the one having some issues about the human body and will probably get my foot in your face to stop you from being flustered. Women and kids were raped at night in the Superdome arena.I wish I could have been there just to practice my martial arts skills but I was not allowed access by the National Guards.There were no lights or sanitation as submerged backup generators failed.The toilets overflowed with the sewer system and the whole toilet system became inoperable.Imagine 16,000 people stuck under a dome with no toilets or drinking water...There was no water supply and volunteers came from all over the country with truck load of water bottles but they were denied access to the area, as the water there was contaminated with the sewer system and dead animal and people so the 16,000 people (+ the 500 Louisiana National Guards, armed with machine guns, having to deal with people screaming at them because they needed water) in the Superdome as they did not get water that could not be certified from a reliable source.That was a FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) disaster.The Superdome refugees were fed boxed meals like spaghetti, Thai chicken or jambalaya.Nothing American, mind you. Where are my Italian Pepperoni Pizza or my Big Mac and French fries?!?Thank you but no thanks. Just get me some water and I'm like Gandhi, being able to fast for 21 day because I'm stupid enough to not evacuate the area when everybody knew for several days that Katrina was coming. They had buses to evacuate people to other States, in shelters, churches, and volunteers to take a family. Some people did not evacuate because you could not bring your pet(s)...If I'm told I have to evacuate but I cannot bring my cat, I'd probably get on the roof with my cat and carrying a back pack to get her water and cat food.Lots of animals were left behind and animals `activists rescued pets, mostly cats and dogs, trying to find their caretakers but if the pet had no chip and no collar, they were put up for adoption.If you're in the Superdome because for some reason, you refused to evacuate the area, so now you're worrying about being raped, where to pee/crap with a non-functioning sewer system or where to get some drinkable water, Cerama Bryte glass Cooktop milky cleaner is great to clean up your glass Cooktop (with the cleaner, the yellow spreading pad, the scraper...) but you'll still need the Stainless Steel cleaner to polish your Stainless Steel, like your knobs, the outside doors of your oven, even your fridge next to it if you got a Stainless Steel to fit your stove.Read and follow instructions on manuals (if you don't have the manual or misplaced it, nowadays you can get those online, some nice people take pictures and print them online so you can access the manual, some manufactures offer their online manuals too)...get rid of excess food remnants or God Forbid, if you don't have a cat to get rid of cockroaches and rodents crapping in your kitchen at night, including on your stove top (dogs are great but you could have half a dozen dogs and none of them will deal with your pesticide issues, especially if you don't use your pesticide guy inside your house, because you and your pet are allergic to pesticides nasty smelling sprays) so... get rid of whatever is on your glass stove top with a damp paper towel before you squirt a little (I said "a little" a little goes a long way while too much is a mess) of the milky white cleaner in a zigzag, spread it evenly and thinly with the yellow pad that is not a sponge but a non-woven non-absorbing thin pad that will not scratch your stove top glass but will spread your cleaner evenly without absorbing it.Run your sink water on your yellow pad to rinse it out and let it air-dry over your counter top or sink drying rack.Wait for the cleaner to dry out and look like chalk, remove it gently with paper towel or a kitchen towel that you only use for that (shake it outside at it is covered with what looks like chalk), so you get a shiny glass. You do not even need elbow grease...Any non-shinny spots could be burnt out food so that's when you need the scraper (you'll see the black charred food that you gently scrap away while wiping off the chalk cleaner). He was being filmed by a cameraman and probably was showing off for the camera, not about to stop moving and get into a ball.When scuba diving, you wear goggles that limit your peripheral vision so when a giant sting ray touched me, I grabbed the leg of the instructor who was in front of me and she turned around, saw the giant sting ray and stopped everybody (10 of us) to stay still and watch the sting ray goes away in a magnificent fashion, like a floating angel that could still kill you. Another guy, the bear guy was killed by a bear.Watch Grizzly Man, a 2005 documentary about bears in Alaska, directed by Werner Herzog.Timothy Treadwell and his girlfriend Amie Huguenard were killed by a bear in 2003.If you have access, you can hear the cell phone recording Timothy screaming for his girlfriend to get away from the bear and she did not run fast enough so you can hear her screaming because she does not have a gun or a taser and she did not play dead like an opossum.I'm 120lbs so if I would have to face an unfriendly 600lbs male grizzly bear, I would make sure I'm armed.The record weight for a grizzly bear is 1,500lbs (680kg)...that beast would not even need to attack me, just sit on me and I'd suffocate before my crushed ribs would pierce my lungs.Gosh, I carry a self-defense taser stunt gun or some electroshock weapon (an incapacitating weapon that does not kill) jogging in my friendly neighborhood just in case some dog jumped off the invisible dog fence but they're usually friendly, not trying to attack me but looking for companionship as they got lost and don't want to get back home and have to cross that invisible fence again. They're not a 600lbs/1,500lbs male hungry grizzly bear. Timothy was friendly with bears, documenting their behavior but at some point, he got a girlfriend (you need to be somehow desperate to have to find a lonely guy as a boyfriend in Alaska). Anyhow, Timothy wanted to show Amie some bears but it was the wrong time of the year, so his friendly bears were gone to hibernate somewhere and he got a huge unfriendly bear that killed him and his girlfriend.Btw, they were reported as missing when they did not show up for the plane that was supposed to take them away from the area so heavily armed hunters showed up and when they found the human remains of Timothy and Amie, they tracked down the bear, killed it with fully automatic machine guns, the necropsy showed that the bear had the remains of Timothy and Amie in his stomach so he ate them (a necropsy is like an autopsy performed on animals).Before I trained her, my cat was a 2 pounds 2 month-old kitten scratching me 200 times/day rescued from a feral cat colony, sick with kennel cough and a flea bag.She was not some 600lbs to a 1,500lbs wild bear...still she scratched well and once she got my cornea when she was on top of me as I was waking up and flashing my eyelashes...I ended up with a red eye for 3 weeks.Without my ability to handle cat' scratches, she would have been euthanized as deemed not adoptable and too wild as she was returned 3 times to the Human Society. So I adopted her, tamed her and now she's an adult cat, 6.8lbs, and I pity any bugs, rodents or wild rabbits trying to get into my house.I still have to carefully enter a room as she's probably hiding behind the door and will jump at my legs unless I make a screeching banshee noise when I see her coming at me.
