The Magicians: The Complete Series [DVD]

The series: awesome, exciting, well produced. Has a couple episodes with some really good music. I really wanted a physical copy because I've already lost a few shows from Syfy that I'm starting to think never existed?The packaging: not great. It's a big flimsy case with a multiple disc holder/file thing inside. They're all accounted for and look great, but the case is not super good.The shipping: this was sent in a small paper mailer for some reason? The DVD case itself was undamaged and had the plastic shrink wrap on it, but if you care about the dust sleeves, mine went straight in the bin since it was dented on all corners and slightly damp from the storm.

Giving it 5 stars because it's a stellar show that's absolutely worth checking out.But 0/5 stars for Amazon because jesus h christ, it was shipped it one of their flimsy envelope bags so of course the package arrived completely smashed to bits and the discs loose and scratched. And of course I have to take time out of my day to go return in person to get the refund, and I can't even opt into getting a replacement copy because they have a policy on the return page where YOU CAN'T REPLACE IT WITH THE SAME ITEM THAT YOU'RE RETURNING WHAT IS THAT MALARKEY. Thank you.

I watched this show when it first came out on tv. But this is the second set of magicians because I lent the first one out and my friend never returned it so I bought another set for myself. I love the bunus stuff you never saw on tv. The bloopers are just great. It has adventure, it is comedy, romantic, funny and sad it has it all

My favorite series, I've watched it 4 times over.

Fantastic series. This show is so underrated. The cast is fantastic and I wish their future careers well, esp the pretty actress who portrayed Margo. I thought at first this would be a ripoff of Harry Potter but no, this goes beyond just being an adult version of it (Harry Potter + Narnia for adults). I thought the TV series was superior to the books though I wish it went on for longer. It felt like it didn't have enough viewership.Regarding the actual copy of the series, it felt a little cheap. I was hoping for more extras so hopefully there will be a more "definitive" version out at some point with better art etc and remastered to 4K. Still, this is the best option at the moment if you're a fan of the show. If you're not, please give this series a watch. You won't regret it.

The disc caddy is not connected to the box so it just bounces around inside. The discs arrived scratched.

Great series, packaging protects the discs, good valu

This is one of my all-time favorite TV shows and when I saw Netflix was dropping it, like many other people I assume, I needed to have my own copy. This set contains all 5 seasons including deleted scenes and gag reels across 19 discs. Those 19 discs however are all piled into just 8 retaining rings in the box. Some of them were rattling around loose when it arrived and every single one of them has at least 1 scratch on it. Be prepared with a disc book or backup boxes when it arrives.Edit to add: Finally had time to try and watch through all the discs and several of them are too damaged to play through the episodes and its not like I can spend money on a whole second set so I guess I just spent money on a partial set.
