Great value for the price and perfect fit.
I have a Iphone SE 3rd generation. The case arrived quickly and was fully charged when I recieved it. Packaging was very well labeled with a screen protector and charging cord is a really nice addition. This case fit perfectly and begain charging my iphone after pushing the button for 3 seconds. Works perfectly. All of the buttons are easy to use and match perfectly to my iphone SE.Obviously this case adds a bit of size and weight to the phone, but I feel it is a good trade off for having the extra battery capasity. I also persopnally felt the phone was easier to manage in my hand as the case has more grip than the outside of the iphone. While I think the black color is very boring, it does not effect any performance of the case on the phone.

Completely failed after 4 months of light use
No connectivity after 4 months. Even though I removed the phone from the case sparingly to preserve the lightning connector, the connection between the battery and phone worked only half the time after 3 months. Now after 4 months has stopped working completely.

USB Sync doesn't work for all computers
This is a review of the Alpatronix BX190 Battery Case for the iPhone 7. I'm using the case with a brand new iPhone 7.First, as per the headline, when I start up iTunes and connect the supplied USB connecting cable to my Sony VAIO laptop's USB 2.0 connectors, nothing happens. iTunes doesn't see my iPhone at all,but the phone does start charging, indicating the USB cable is connected. But when I connect the USB cable to my laptop's USB 3.0 connectors,Windows 10 says the USB device is bad.I tried several different Alpatronix cables with the same results. However, if I connect the same setup to any the USB 2.0 or 3.0 ports on my desktop, iTunes starts up and I can see my iPhone in iTunes. So, at least with my laptop, the USB Sync doesn't work with the BX190. One workaround for my laptop is to connect iTunes to the iPhone in WiFi mode, bypassing the BX190. (Note that using the iPhone's lightning connector cable directly with the iPhone, not using the BX190 works correctly on my laptop every time, in all USB ports, so it's a problem with the BX190.)There is another minor problem with the BX190. The BX190 adds so much thickness and length to the iPhone 7 that there is no case you can fit the BX190 into. I prefer a case with a flip cover that I can flip over the screen. That way, I can just stuff it into my pocket and have the screen protected from scratches and dirt. So, I've had to go back to not using the bulky BX190 case, and instead get a standard iPhone 7 flip case (there are lots of them on Amazon). But I would guess this problem is the same no matter which battery case you purchase, and not restricted to the BX190, so it isn't really a problem with the BX190 directly. And the way I use the iPhone, it appears I only use 15% to 20% of the battery a day, so I don't have to even use the BX190 to charge the battery every night. I can just plug it into a charger stand I purchased every few days, and charge it through the Lightning connector. So, look into how you want to use this external battery before purchasing it, and see if the convenience of a wireless charger is compatible with the way you are going to use the iPhone. But I can only give the BX190 3 stars since it doesn't work with my laptop correctly (and yes, I've upgraded and updated all the drivers and software to the latest).Edit:Alpatronix contacted me and sent me a new BX190 (w2ith an earlier serial number) that works with all my computers now. (The purchased one did not work on my VAIO, but did work on on the other three computers/laptops). So I'll be upgrading my review to four stars (it should have worked the first time).I checked with them, and they verified that they don't know of any case that will fit the iPhone 7 inside the BX190 battery case.

Easiest battery maintainance for older phone
Always a great way to keep my phone battery charged… I have a 2020 phone right now and after use for 3 1/2 years this lets me keep the battery charged all day, and it’s very convenient because it’s always in my pocket. The important thing is to register it for a two year warranty within the first two weeks of buying it… Otherwise they May not extend the warranty. But you can always give them a call in the morning and they will call you back and solve any problems you have. Of the four pieces I have bought, Some were replaced at no cost, when I remembered to register them in advance.

Like it so much I keep buying it
12/16/20This is my third one. Not the fault of the manufacturer. Unfortunately, I have dropped the previous two I owned. It should tell you something when I keep buying it. I love it too much to be without it. Both drops were from a standing position onto a concrete or tile floor. First time the bottom broke a piece off of it. It still worked but I replaced it. Just over a year later, I dropped my second one and while it looked fine and still held a charge, it would no longer charge my phone. I ordered another one and received the new style today. Gotta say, I love the new look. I especially love that I can use my phone charger and plug it into the charging port of my phone and it charges both. With the previous version, I had to remove the case to charge my phone because there was no access to the charging port through the case itself, only the ability to charge the case or lay it on the Qi charger. I would always leave my phone in the case and charge it nightly on the Qi charger. I’ll update my post after I have had time to use the newest case. By the way, I hate solicited reviews and this isn’t one of them. I review products at my own discretion.01/24/21 UpdateStill love it. Big bonus- it will charge on the center console charging pad of my ‘17 Suburban. The other charging case would not. The charging pads in the GM vehicles weren’t compatible with iPhones until 2018 and only certain models of iPhones. The charging pad was useless until now. Thanks for improving upon an already great product!

I loved it until it died 9 weeks later
I loved the security of knowing I could add additional charge to my old iphone. It was great. I was very careful to follow safety instructions on how to put on and remove the case.Yesterday it quit working for no reason. Now I know why the return window is only a month long. Disappointing end to an amazing product.

Defective charging port
Everything is good except the durability. The last two I have bought the charging port has been defective. The last one only lasted three months.
