The bed comes in a relatively small box in kit form. Check all the components carefully against the instructions. Each part is numbered and referenced in the instructions, which really helps. Provided you follow the instructions to the letter, building the bed is straightforward. An Allen key and small spanner are provided, but you will also need a medium Phillips screwdriver. Having an electric screwdriver definitely helps. You will need a screwdriver with a longer (>4”) shaft for the screws in the slats. Make sure that all the bolts, nuts, screws and other fixings are well hand-tightened. I also considered using wood glue on the joints, but this really is not necessary. Once completed, the bed is very sturdy. I particularly like that each of the slats is screwed to the frame, which really helps to brace the bed and make it very solid. I weigh 14.5st and the bed does not feel at all stressed when I lie on it. I think this bed is remarkably good quality for the price and I would not hesitate to recommend it for anyone.

Okay so this bed isnt solid oak, or hand crafted by award winning carpenters but it is definitely fit for purpose providing you aren't going to decide to grab your pogo stick and start aiming for a world record in the middle of the night for something to do.Quality and sturdiness is fine providing you aren't heavy handed when putting together as I could imagine putting some pressure in places would split the wood or paint however I personally didnt have an issue. The only slight snag I ran into was with a cross threaded bolt which was a bit stubborn getting on (and it was the last one) but apart from that everything was fine.Instructions are enough for what you need and everything comes numbered including the bags of screws and bolts etc so it makes it really simple and straight forward.The bed was for my 11 year old son and he has not had any trouble so far (had the bed 3 weeks now) and he loves it.I would recommend and would definitely buy again if I needed for another bedroom.Summary - Bargain price, good bed, looks smart and clean, modern and sturdy.

The media could not be loaded. I have three of these beds. 2 are grey and one is white and all are single. We bought them for our 6 13 and 10 year old. It's been over 6 months since we bought them and they Ave been great. My husband put them up with an electric drill easily. They are sturdy enough but if someone is heavy, or if kids want to bounce it can make a cracking noise. I definitely wouldn't think it is suitable for anyone over the weight it states in the description. We have regular size single mattresses on the beds. I think these beds are great value for money and I prefer these over a divan. I like the wood detail at the top and that my daughter can wrap her lights round it and lean against the headboard whilst she reads. There is lots of room underneath too.

Do not purchase these Bed frames. Bed frame has broken in 4 or 5 places on 1 of the frames I purchased and in 2 places on the other frame I purchased, all within 2 and half months of purchase. Both bed frames being used by children. Breaks are both in the same places on both frames. Clearly a product issue as they're both broken in the same areas on both frames and similar reviews report the same thing. Have tried to contact the seller for the last 45 mins through returning damaged item but Amazon system is almost impossible to navigate, directing me back to help pages when it says it's connecting me to "Amazon customer support now". Absolutely horrendous customer service from Amazon and cannot believe they feel it's perfectly ok to sell children's bed frames that last less than 3 months before being rendered absolutely useless. Disgraceful.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Love the bed! We bought 2x for our kids and they love it. Can take 1-2 people to assemble. Me and my husband took one each and found it easy enough. So far so good.

I have no complaints about the quality of materials used in the frame, it all went together really easily and all pre drilled holes etc lined up perfectly. The only downside is it creeks really badly whenever you move in bed, I re-built it and glued it together and this helped a little but it’s still a noisy bed. It’s fine for the price but I probably wouldn’t buy another one.

I will be buying another for my son’s room ! I was a little cautious about buying to incase I had to return but it’s great . My daughter can’t wait to sleep in it tonight

As long as you follow the instructions on the box, it is very easy to put together. Although the bed isn’t too strong and had told my kids not to jump on it 😀
