Having read the tiny print on back of packaging I could not make the recipe!They omitted instructions on when to add the split peas to the mixture.I called the company to find out missing information and the person on the phone did not know enough to explain the missing information. If I did not already know how to cook I still wouldn’t be able to make their recipeAfter a lengthy conversation someone finally explained that the peas are added at the beginning but only after rinsing in a colanderAll of this should have been on package.

I bought a lot--some for storage and some for dinners. Slow cooked, they came out really creamy and wonderful. Love that I have a good source for vegan, non-GMO and quick delivery in a nice, resealable bag.

What i needed

I was extremely pleased with the bulk shipment of split peas. I always inspect and wash the peas before use. Other brands have contained small rocks. None here. I make a large quantity of split pea soup in my crockpot. This is the only usage of the peas that I can report. When I do get close to running out, I plan on purchasing this brand again.

We have been stocking up on legumes and grains during the pandemic, and these split peas are great to have handy! So easy to pull together a soup with these - versatile and very high quality. One of the better bulk orders I've purchased recently.

A really good value for the price. Clean with no stones or other field debris. Cooked up beautifully in split pea soup. (Delivered on time as well.)
