MOST STURDY BACKPACK EVER! IT'S SUPERBACKPACK!!!!
It is high quality and will last no matter how much you abuse it and over pack it. This thing lasts!I've used it to wheel heavy cans and groceries home when I shop after going to classes.I packed an entire deskful of stuff in it when I was moving home from the dorms and left it packed to the gills for two weeks while I set up my new desk in my old bedroom (dorm food sucks I'm staying home)I once spilled about two cups of pomegranite juice in the middle compartment and while it did take some effort to get it all out and dry - it never got my textbooks wet. Funny thing, as I was using five pounds of disposable handtowels drying this backpack out, my first thought when I saw the clean textbooks was "I gotta tell the people on Amazon about this!" It is almost 100% waterproof as far as I know, it also takes sweating waterbottles and lunchboxes without getting mildew smelling.I've used it as a desk when I was taking open book chemistry tests in a theatre (which doubles as a classroom for math, biology and chemistry as it is a large room) the top was tall enough to hold my open textbook and the side pocket (big enough to hold a two liter but secure enought to hold a one liter) made my extra pencils and calculator easy to reach.I live in Alaska, this bag spends most of its life 2 inches in snow and twice a year it tends to get constantly swung around by the handle as I get on and off shuttles and dodge numerous piles of ducksh*t (ALL canadian geese fly over UAA I swear!) In the summer all the gravel that is laid down as traction is scattered everywhere all over Alaska, it even gets tracked into all of the buildings here (it's called Break-up and it sucks) and so this thing has been rolled over lots of gravel. Everyonce in a while a loose stone gets caught in the wheel works and the wheel jams up but it's a two second fix you just have to dig out the stone.Point is the wheels don't even look like they are scratched yet, I do have to keep re-tightening a screw in the middle of the handle or I can't collapse it but it takes two seconds and a pen - big deal.It holds all of the rest of my bags combined including my laptop bag. It is too large for the days where you only have one class so I use my laptop bag for those days. The bad thing about this backpack is that it weighs two pounds by itself as it is weighted (and will definately not fall over). The straps are a pain to hook, unhook and tuck away when I want to carry it for 5 minutes then roll it for five, then carry it for five depending on which building I'm walking through. With my old rolling backpack I was able to throw the straps over the handle and it took two seconds to convert it, not a full minute.I also wear a 4X T-Shirt (Womens) and have no trouble with the straps, getting it on and off isn't a problem but I don't think a 5X could wear this backpack.PROSWide WheelsHolds an amazing amount of stuffAt least 90% waterproof. Will not fall overConsHeavyStraps annoy me just a littleOnly fits up to a 4x (Womens sizes, not mens)This backpack is built for those who need to haul around a lot of stuff, it is designed to roll around everywhere, not to be carried. You CAN do both it's just designed to be more of a suitcase designed for college classes than an actual backpack.

Great for road warriors and business air travel
Bought this bag for a international trip to Sweden and it really worked well. The bag fits a good amount of clothing, toiletries, and electronics for travel. The rollers worked well on all the surfaces at the airport, on the tram, on the street, and in the subway systems. When you're in a situation where you have to monitor for pickpockets on the subway or in a long line, having the backpack "mode" straps are helpful to strap it on your front. The quality of the bag has held up well on the several trips I've used it for over the summer. I bought my wife one when we got back from Sweden after how impressed we were with the first one. Jansport makes a good product and its worth the investment.

Long lasting
It is convenient, and after more than 1 year of intensive use is still good and still looks good

Cooler Than My High School Student Thought
I bought this for my son because as an athlete, he's also dragging an athletic bag almost days. Since his high school has multiple bldgs, he was complaining about having to carry too many things when his locker is on another part of campus. At first, he didn't want this bag when he saw the wheels. As a high schooler, something about the wheels was just not "cool." But after a tough morning workout with the football team and carrying all his books, plus another bag, he realized it was "cool" to not have back and shoulder pain! He can carry it like a traditional back pack, and roll it when he needs to and not be unnecessarily exhausted between classes. Best of both worlds! And now all the boys are ordering them. HA! It's a big bag that can carry multiple binders, a laptop, books, water bottle, a lunch bag and more if needed. Also doubles as an awesome travel carry on! (No complaints about rolling it through the airport, ironically). Definitely worth the purchase.

More of a rolling bag than a backpack
Got it for $75, which was a good value.+ stands up straight even when totally full+ fits into overhead compartment (but tightly if full)+ fits a 15.2 laptop no problem; pocket is very convenient for airport security+ wheels and handle are solid- back straps are pretty flimsy for a bag this size and no back padding, so don't plan on using it as backpack for more than an hour- back pocket for the straps is so tight that you really have to push the straps hard inside (can't really do it with one hand). If you plan on rolling this bag, you have to put the straps in the pocket otherwise they get under wheels.- the top material handle (not the metal handle) is also pretty flimsy for size of the bag and without padding.

A sturdy, well-made, rolling backpack with space for everything.
We purchased this backpack for our daughter to carry all of her books to and from school. There are many compartments in this backpack, and there is enough space for several textbooks, a large binder, a lunch sack, and a change of clothes. Even with all that there is still room to spare. There is an additional padded compartment inside with a hook and loop strap for securing a laptop or tablet. There is also a net on the side for a water bottle. The handle telescopes out and closes easily, and the wheels roll smoothly. There is rubber reinforcement on the back to protect the fabric from rough ground and stairs. Overall, this is a high quality backpack that I am sure will last a very long time.
