I really love this figurine. As you can see from my photos, it comes in a nice red presentation box. It was packaged very securely. There was bubble wrap on the outside, over a white cardboard slip cover and inside the box was more foam padding around the flowers. Seemed just as secure as the many Lenox figurines I have purchased over the years. This lotus flower has beautiful colors. The crystals reflect all kinds of colors through them. I have included a photo of it in my had and with a ruler so you can see the size. There are even nice little triangles cut into each end to reflect more light from the base. Since it is not too large, I was surprised at its weight. The base is almost 1/4 inch thick and has black felt on the bottom. This is going to make a great Christmas present for my 87 year old Mom!
