So good!
This is the best! I've always just eaten tinned fish just out of the can with crackers, but this is put in salad, mixed means I probably haven't thought of what all to put it in. I love it packed in EVOO as it seems to be more moist (ugh, that word lol) but the little whole, not broken, fishes are not dry at all. You can eat them with the oil or drain, it depends on how I'm eating them. I love these. There is only one other brand I ever buy, but these are easier to get without being in a meal kind of.

I can't stand canned tuna. But I like canned Mackerel, and this one is the best.
I've been trying to work more omega 3s into my diet, and this is a fast, great tasting option for when I don't have a lot time, and I want something healthy to eat.I've been buying King Oscar Skinless & Boneless Mackerel Fillets in Olive Oil and it's pretty good, but to me it doesn't taste like they're using extra-virgin olive oil. The fish isn't well packed—more like just jammed in the can any which way—so with each can, you never know what you're going to get.On the other hand, the Wild Planet Wild Mackerel Fillets taste like they're packed in extra-virgin olive oil, and the fillets are stacked with care, maintaining their shape. I really appreciate that attention to detail, if they're that focused on the placement of the fish in the can, that tells me they're a producer who is trying to deliver the best product available. I also really like that they test their catch for heavy metals, and they taste really good. My only complaint is that it took several weeks to get them, and a couple of cans arrived bent, but I think that was the shipper's fault. It looked like someone threw the box on its corner. Overall, I highly recommend Wild Planet Wild Mackerel Fillets. They may cost a slightly more than King Oscar, but the price difference is more than worth it.

Tasty treat
So tasty! Bit expensive but I've never had mackerel and wanted to try it for the health benefits. I was worried what it would taste like. It smells like tuna and tastes like really good tuna. I'm hooked and will be buying again. Great quick snack right out of the can!

Very Mild Flavor - Very Clean Fish
Very, very mild taste despite being packed in olive oil. Feels like I am eating a good, clean source of protein. Beautifully prepared and packaged. Fillets are nice size and very clean. Would recommend adding it to a sauce or perhaps add spices for some flavor rather than just consuming straight from tin.

Very tasty
Love this brand of wild mackerel - so tasty whole fish without bones and white meat. More economical to buy in bulk.
