The glass container broke when I tried pulling out the stainless steel lid, which had got stuck. I would like to buy a replacement glass container but they are not available. So I have replaced the whole thing with an Airscape canister, which has a bit thicker glass and an all-plastic lid and seems to work just as well.

Loved it cylinder is tall and fit just right in my cabinet. Kept the coffee airtight. Problem the plunger got stuck. I'm 73 and not as strong as I used to be, so pulling the plunger out made the glass cylinder break. If you buy this be very careful. I ordered a stainless steel cylinder with plunger.

I keep walnuts and pecans in this container. Keeps them handy and visable. Reduces the amount of air reaching product but not for storing food in indeffinately.

Purchased as a gift and the recipient loves it. They stated they had to make sure the container, which is glass, will not crack. Releases the air as advertised for keeping the coffee fresh. Recommend!
