Great decoration for Halloween. I had a Harry Potter themed office for Halloween. It would not have been complete without the sorting hat. This arrived very smushed into its packaging. Needed to steam the wrinkles out of it. The hat has a piece of fabric where your head goes and has stuffing in the hat part to help it stand up. There was not enough stuffing, and it kept falling over. So, I unstitched the fabric covering the head opening and stuffed more stuffing in the hat and then sewed it back closed. It took quite a few handfuls, but I did get it to stand up. It looks really good on my desk. Gave 4 stars as it needed some adjustments to make it look good.

If you are wanting to use as a tree topper, know that the bottom of the hat does not have a hole, preventing you to stuff the tree into the hat. It does stand up on it's own as the top is stuffed. I have to go pick up a few more fall picks to cover some bald spots in the tree around the hat as I thought I would be able to pull it down further. Other than that I LOVE IT ❤️ Just what I wanted

Cute, but doesn't sit upright, which was annoying. We had to modify it to make it work.

Bought for my daughter for a Xmas present. She loved it. Good quality material.
