US-made, built like a tank. I bought this to use with my meat grinder, and it made the sausage-making process easier.

Just a switch? Think again... First off it takes a lot for me to break away and write a review but this seemingly simple product impressed the heck out of me. This is a solid steel, heavy duty, heavy gauge wire, american made piece of equipment that will keep you safe and increase your productivity. I plan on using it for my super sweet swag offroad band saw, grinders, and whatever else I can find to plug into this bad boy. Very impressed and happy with this purchase. Glad I didn't cheap out on one of the chinese, plastic switches. Great work SSC controls! If you need an ambassador for your great products in the future I'm your huckleberry.

I use mine for making sausage. It’s difficult to make sausage solo without an extra set of hands to crank the stuffer. This allows me to work an electric stuffer at my own pace. Works great for this. Now I can make sausage whenever I want solo. The pedal pedal is quite heavy duty and looks to able to last a long time.

After using this foot switch for a few months I realized maybe I never left a feedback on this item. Wow, what a great deal on price for a quality, well built and stout in wiring switch. I am so sad I waited so long before researching for a replacement of a switch that had gone out some time before. This foot switch is so much better than what I had used for many years. I almost want to order several more and will do so once this Covid 19 pandemic is cleared so we can go back to work. The switch is WELL WORTH THE PRICE.

The case is metal, UL rated, made in USA, 12 AWG wire, moulded piggyback plug with ground wire, strain relief where wire enters metal pedal. The metal case should last a long time. It plugs into power source, and tool plugs in piggy back style. I use it on a DeWalt table saw, and DeWalt scroll saw (not at the same time). This would also be great for a lathe or any tool up to 15 A. The tool still has its on/off switch, so you can disable the tool and there is no chance of it starting up if someone steps on the switch. Or, simply lift it off the floor when not in use. This is a deadman switch -- if operator lifts foot off switch then power is cut-off.

Robust is an understatement about this product. Built like a tank as another reviewer wrote is dead on. Rubber pads on top and bottom (as well as product weight) prevent it from slipping. The switch body is angled and tips away from the user when depressed. Operating it is as simple as tapping the pedal with the front of part of your foot while balancing off the heel. No need to raise your foot and stomp. The return spring is strong, so it takes a conscious effort to use the switch. Rather than being a nuisance, this gives you a feeling of confidence and control. Obviously designed for reliability and long-term comfort.
