Finally gave in and bought an ultrasonic cleaner, and it's been a game changer for cleaning small items. Sometimes manually brushing is jut not enough for small crevices and stubborn dirt, plain and simple! I used to spend time scrubbing the nose pads of glasses with cotton swabs, but now I just drop them into the tank and hit the button for three minutes, and they come out looking professionally detailed. The same magic works for my old jewelry, which comes out sparkling and free of the dull residue that collects over time. This handles oil, makeup, and dust that regular washing simply misses. The cleaner is surprisingly versatile, too. Beyond glasses and rings, I've used it on metal watch bands, tarnished coins, and even precision items like shaving heads. It does make a distinct humming sound while operating, but that's just the nature of ultrasonic tech. Overall, I highly recommend this cleaner. Excellent little ultrasonic cleaner that does exactly what it promises. The LifeBasis D-2000 is very easy to use – just add water, drop in your jewellery or glasses, press the button and let it do its thing. I was genuinely impressed with how clean my rings and watch came out after just one cycle. The size is perfect for everyday items and the watch stand is a nice extra touch. It feels well built and the 45000Hz cleaning power really shifts dirt you didn’t even realise was there. I’ve also used it for glasses and razor heads with great results. For the price, this is a fantasic bit of kit and makes everything look like new again.

Very efficient, even with just water. Not too noisy. I have deducted a star as the watch strap holder was a little high so not much of the watch bracelet went into the solution. Also a small basket for rings etc would have been a helpful addition

My wife use this cleaner for jewellery. Works well, removes dirt easily, and is simple to use.

This is excellent, used every day for the last few years with no issues. Cleans my retainers brilliantly and has meant they’ve stayed strong and fresh for longer, without breaking. A quiet buzzing noise but you get used to it, works great with retainer bright tablets. Would be good if it had a 2 pin attachment to keep in the bathroom, but that’s the only criticism. Easy to use, would highly recommend for retainer

Heavily tarnished silver jewellery been in 5 times and still heavily tarnished. Disappointed.

This ultrasonic cleaner is easy to use , only put tap water and some washing liquid. Clean the glasses and jewelry very good .

Hi, I bought some vintage jewellery, and this was worth the purchase. I cleaned all my jewellery, so it sparkled and shone. Don't overdo the ultra-clean; only do it once. Some of my gems became loose.

Comprato per pulire gli occhiali di mia figlia , ma al primo test sono rimasta a bocca aperta , ho provato su un paio di occhiali vecchi e non credevo potesse esserci così tanto sporco , si scioglieva dalle fessure delle lenti , impercettibile ad prima vista , ho usato una miscela di detersivo per i piatti e un goccio d'aceto . Pulitissimi, mai piu senza, anzi mi sono pentita di non aver preso il modello più grande, in quello piccolo purtroppo non entrano le spazzole e i pennelli. Ottimo anche su gioielli e piccoli accessori.

Vorrangig zum Reinigen von Brillen, Ohrpasstücke für Hörgeräte und Trockenrasierer-Scherköpfe suchte ich nach einem leistungsstarken und größenmäßig passenden Gerät. Nachdem ich mich erst für ein leistungsschwaches Modell eines anderen Herstellers entschied, und dieses schnell zurücksendete, entschied ich mich nach längerer Suche für das LifeBasis 700ml - Gerät. Mit einem Tropfen herkömmliches Spülmittel und ein hierzu von Amazon empfohlenen Reinigungskonzentrat (wenig davon nehmen!) und klarem Wasser erzielt man in 90 Sekunden eine sehr saubere Brille. Wie beim Optiker gewaschen, klar, mit passenden Brillentuch trocknen und polieren sollte man nicht vergessen. Gut ist, dass man 5 Zeitvarianten einstellen kann. Von 90 Sekunden bis 10 Minuten (600 sek). Bei längeren Intervallen erwärmt sich das Wasser auf bis zu 60° C. Vorsicht bei Entnahme nach langen Reinungsläufen. Die Scherköpfe waren nach 3 min sauber, ebeso die Paßstücke fürs Hörgerät. Längere Tests usw. hab ich noch nicht durchgeführt, besitze das Gerät nun erst seit 2 Tagen. Aber bisher liegt das Ergebnis im Rahmen meiner Erwartung. Gerät wurde einwandfrei und sicher verpackt von Hermes geliefert. Update 8.11.16: Das Gerät funktioniert nach wie vor zuverlässig. Inzwischen habe ich auch den Druckkopf vom CANON MP 550 gereinigt, und der Drucker funktioniert seither wieder zuverlässig. Den Druckkopf nur in destaillierten Wasser reinigen und hinterher gut trocknen. Vor dem Einsatz empfiehlt es sich, die Kontaktplatte abzukleben (TESA z.B.) Zum Brillenreinigen verzichte ich inzwischen auf das Reinigungsmittel und nehme klares Wasser und wenige Tropfen "Fit" - Geschirrspülmittel. So wird das Ergebnis nach dem Trockenputzen schlierenfreier. Update 17.5.17: Das Gerät funktioniert immer noch zuverlässig. Auch wenn große Brillen nur diagonal in den Korb passen (Hier sollte man sich vielleicht besser auf 850 ml orientieren), liefert das Gerät nach wie vor gute Ergebnisse. Auf das auch hier erhältliche Reinigungsmittel verzichte ich nun gänzlich und weiche auf handelsübliches Spülmittel (Fit) aus. Auch davon verwende ich sehr wenig. Ich nutze es für Brilen, Hörgerät-Paßsstücke, Zahnersatz, Rasiererscherköpfe und - Blätter und auch für die o.e. Druckkopfreinigung (hier allerdings nur mit destaillierten Wasser OHNE Zusatz!) Das Wasser wechsele ich wöchentlich, bei speziellen Reinigungen wie Ohrpaßstücke, Zahnersatz oder Scherköpfen aus hygienischen Gründen natürlich sofort. Für Rasierer-Scherköpfe und Druckköpfe verwende ich meist die höchste Zeitstufe. Das Gerät ist leider im Standby, habe es daher an eine abschaltbare Steckerleiste angeschlossen.
