Nice large plates and if you eat in front of the tv, the flipped up sides is really great for keeping your food from falling or rolling off your plate. Dishwasher safe. We use ours everyday.

My family tries to do their part to reduce trash and were shown these plates to use instead of paper plates. These plates are great because we can microwave things and put hot dinners on them, their dishwasher safe and we can even lightly cut things on them, although you want to minimize really sharp knives because it will Cut these plates. But we will always reach for these before a paper plate so we can try to minimize the amount of trash that we’re putting into the environment and they wear very well and we would happily keep buying these over and over again.

The picture is what I have cut off the box that the plates were shipped in. I adhere these to the inside of my cupboard door in case someone wants to know if microwave or dishwasher safe. As you can see from what I cut from the box these plates can only be microwavable at a maximum of 120C (248F) for 5 minutes. Majority of the people I know use 100% power level most of the time & based on a microwave with 650-800 watts of power that would be 500F in your oven, broil temperature. So the 248F they talk about would be equivalent to power level 3 (30%) -4 (40%) which would be 225 - 300 degrees, based on a microwave with 650-800 watts of power. What I would like to know is why they don't state the power level? One would think that stating the degrees would be for the oven but on the box it states [Oven] Not for use in oven.Only top rack dishwasher safe here in this house, so these plates aren't completely dishwasher safe. They do suggest that you clean with a soft cloth or sponge.Other that that these plates are pretty nice just wish they had a little bit thinner & deeper edge for us gravy eaters. The thick edge isn't something I go for cause I don't like my food to drain while resting on the edge, I like it setting in the juice or sauce (BBQ ribs, cole slaw, baked beans); yum! I seen the 8" deep edge plate but that looked way to deep, want to be able to cut my items next to the edge & not cut the plate edge.

I initially bought these to have smaller plates for smaller portions. As we started using them, I fell in love with them. They are extremely durable, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe. I immediately ordered another set for my house and one for my daughter. I show everyone who comes to eat at my house and send them the link to order them.

First I love the colors. I used to have a set of pottery dinner dishes the exact same colors and could never replace them. These are pretty, affordable and so useful. They don't look or feel cheap. I bought them originally for our new shelter pup that seems to eat only leftovers. He'll eat puppy food in the daytime but after dinner wants what we had. These plates are the perfect size for leftovers and pretend leftovers. Also a great size for so many other things. So glad I bought them.

I like the plates for our everyday use. The size is just right 10" and they are in pastel colors. They are very light as well.However, I did not expect the plates to be so flat that you cannot avoid food spillage. Also, the colors are actually darker not pastel. Some of the plates you would think that tiny crumbs were put in and painted afterwards. I am still using them for pastries.

we like these plates because they have a nice lip on them to keep our food from dripping off the plate. They are nice colors.
