Excellent Pistol Light
I ordered this UTG ELP223Q LED Weapon light because I was looking for an inexpensive, qualiity light to use with my Glock 19 mainly for home defense. This light really fit the bill. The light is well made of aluminum, not too heavy, easy to adjust with positive controls and fits perfectly on the G19 Gen 4 with either mounting insert. I prefer the offset insert as it positions the ambidextrous on/off/momentary switch so that it's easily accessible with either my trigger finger or my support hand index finger. Although it's very easy to move the switch down to the momentary on position, it is a little stiff moving it up to always on. I think it will loosen up with use though. The beam is advertised as 400 lumens and, compared to a similarly rated Streamlight, that seems to be pretty accurate. Last night I scared the heck out of a cat in the backyard with the light. The light comes with two 123A lithium batteries and specifically states that rechargeable batteries should not be used. That's OK, I can live with that. Between the range and testing the light around the property I probably ran it for at least 6 hours and the light is still strong so battery life appears to be pretty good. The QD mount is easy to set up and locks on solid. Yesterday at the range I put 200 rounds through the G19. The light stayed solidly attached and the light did not falter. I left the light on the entire time to see how well it would hold up and if it would last.I really like this light and believe it is a solid performer for less than half the cost of a comparable Streamlight or similar higher end product. I've attached some photos for our info. I have a different light/laser on my M&P 15 Sport II but this light should work well on it as well.An excellent buy, I Highly Recommend this light.UPDATE 12/01/2016: My Glock 19 with this light attached slipped off a rolling cart onto a ceramic tile floor. The light remained securely attached to the gun and was undamaged with full functionality. The Glock survived too without a scratch as expected. My point is that this just emphasizes the quality of the light.Hope this review helps. If so, please click Yes below as I appreciate the feedback on the quality of my reviews.

Nice Bright Little Light!
I mounted this on my KelTec Sub 2K. After the first shot, the batteries flew out! :-o Make sure you have the door latch closed all the way, and you won't have any problems. Nice little unit, very bright.

Awesome Light! Quality and Affordable! Spend the extra $20 if you are looking at Aimko or Nebo... you won't be sorry!
Awesome light for the price. Having seen the construction of this light and the battery life, I ran back home and searched Amazon. I checked out the company sight too, only to find this light to be the best value for the price. Comparing this to the Aimko and Nebo lights was easy, it is better by far, for $20 more. No, it doesn't have the strobe, but in a self-defense situation, I'm not sure that a strobe will disorient an attacker any more than than myself. It does have a 3.5 hour battery life, a quick release lever (for fast installation and removal), all metal construction, a 400 lumen out put, and a very manageable weight and size. In researching some other brands (Aimko specifically), I asked purchasers if the 27 minute battery life was correct? I got answers ranging from what does it matter and 'sounds about right'. My problem, that others didn't seem to realize is, if you use it a couple of times, then a real danger happens, I didn't want to have to stop and wonder how many minutes were left on the battery (or worse, it go out in a life or death situation because my 27 minutes were up). With this light, you can just replace the batteries once a year, or so, without worrying about how many minutes are left after trying it out a few times. If you want a quality light, comparable to a Streamlight, only less expensive... this light is it! Would purchase it again... highly recommended! Also, great customer service... I emailed them with a specific technical question, and was answered back in less than a day. PS... Fit like a dream on my PPQ rail.

Excellent pistol lights
I've bought 3 of these now...the only gripe I have about them is that the on/off lever is a bit stiff. That's the only gripe I really have and it's something that you can overcome with training and familiarization. I keep one on every one of my pistols with a rail and even used one as a rifle light for a while...they held up to recoil just fine. I really love the adjustable quick-detach lever. It uses two batteries, and the light lasts a relatively long time...one of mine got bumped inside a pistol case and was on continuously for at least an hour and a half and it was still shining super bright. It's no brand-name Streamlight, but I'm not a big enough brand snob to care. Mine have all worked, kept working, and what I paid for three of them was about the cost of a single TLR-1. That's a win in my book.
