MaxyLife Supreme Silicone Heat-resistant Grilling BBQ Gloves for Barbecue,Oven Baking,Smoking and Cooking, Potholder

Smoked a brisket this past weekend and was so glad that I got these pair of gloves. I have been using a pair of welder gloves and/or a pair of large kitchen forks to handle my briskets, ribs, and pork shoulders.I have larger than normal hands and these gloves fit just fine with a little extra room to spare. The design allowed for easier gripping and better control when I removed the brisket from my smoker to wrap it in foil. Heat was not an issue as the silicone is thick enough to protect my hands. I was able to transfer the brisket by just grabbing it with my silicone gloves. Beats using the welders gloves and kitchen forks any day!!!Additional Pros:- Bubble texture of gloves give you a good grip- Orange color makes it easy to find- Fingers and thumb have good flexibility- Holes at base of gloves allowed me to insert metal rings so that I could hang them from my smoker- Excellent quality and design for the priceI received this product for free or a discounted price. Would definitely be willing to purchase another one in the future at regular price. It is worth it and a good value.

These are so much better than my old Cloth oven mits. I love having the flexiblity of my fingers and able to quickly rinse them off when they get dirty. They have been a huge help with taking large briskets and ribs off the grill.I was able to hold a cast iron skillet, coming out of a 500* oven with only feeling a little heat.I do worry that since the gloves have lots of little raised bumps that help keep the heat away from my hands and at some point something will get between those bumps and be hot enough to burn me.

I ordered these BBQ gloves for my husband. He has rather large hands, and it is often hard to find a glove to fit him whether it be for this or any other use. However, these fit him well, and they are so helpful when barbecuing. He can easily grip something by just grabbing the food on the grill, and they also fit well enough so that he has a lot of dexterity. They are easy to clean, and I just put them on the top rack of my dishwasher and run them through a regular load with the dishes. I would definitely buy these again.

I've used these gloves to pick up 10# pork shoulders and 18# briskets straight off the smoker and I could not feel the heat through the gloves. They worked great for shredding pulled pork and beef chuck roast. They clean up very easy with a little soap and water. I'll be buying another set to have a standby. I highly recommend these gloves for anyone that loves grilling, bbq'n and smoking meats and is sick of burning their hands getting the food off the grill/smoker.

Updated review: I am updating my original rating from 2 stars to 5 as a result of wonderful customer service from the seller and considering that my review may have been slanted from trying to use these for a purpose other than intended. I'm not sure these gloves were truly intended as oven mitts and are probably better at protecting hands from environment heat vs semi-prolonged surface contact heat. The seller reached out immediately upon seeing my review to address my concerns and point me in the direction of a different product of theirs that may be better suited for my use. Very impressed with their responsiveness and desire to please customers.Original Review: (Hot Hands) Not good for taking items from the oven (350+ degrees). Heat transfer is significant and does not subside quickly after removing them from contact. Would not buy these again.

Bought thess mainly to use with my Instant Pot Pressure Cooker - especially when moving the steam release valve. The thickness of the silicone takes a little getting used to at first, but I quickly did so.... These have gotten regular use in my kitchen, and have the advantage over regular potholders or oven mitts due to being water-proof.

Been using this multiple times a week for a couple of months now - awesome tool for anyone who is serious about BBQ/Grilling; they definitely protect your hands from heat; they fit well and have only a nominal impact on your hands dexterity; easy to clean; have a built in hole to hang them from (which I like).

Does exactly what is advertised. Love these because they are non toxic, easy to clean and safe to use with high heat. Makes cooking in the kitchen or on the grill so much easier! Very well made!
