Saucony Men's Zealot ISO Running Shoe

Wow. The Perfect Running Shoe.
WOW. I started running a few years ago, and went through multiple pairs of expensive running shoes 'recommended' by running stores--all of which gave me blisters or muscle cramps or numb toes. Then I discovered the Saucony Mayhem and they were the lightest, most comfortable, and most durable running shoe I had ever found. Unfortunately the Mayhem was discontinued recently and so I pleaded with other runners on Amazon for assistance in choosing an alternative. I was given two: the Kinvara and the Zealot. I tried both. The Kinvara is an excellent shoe, and I have no problems with them, BUT.... the Zealot is WOW. Simply WOW. I thought the Mayhem was the best shoe I could run in, but the Zealot makes running actually fun. When you get the laces right it simply feels like you aren't even wearing shoes, except for the comfortable spring from the cushion when you land. A truly neutral shoe and a bit more firm than the Kinvara, i usually wear a 9.5 but ordered a 10 which fits perfectly, I now wear these every day for running and am impressed with both the comfort and the durability! I am planning on stockpiling several pairs for the future. A great shoe at a great price!

Great fit, lightweight, lots of cushion
I've been running in Saucony shoes for a few years now, going through 2-4 pairs a year. I have tried multiple pairs from just about every major shoe brand and find that I like Saucony the best (with Brooks and a close second, but Saucony is starting to pull away). That being said, the Zealot is the best shoe I've put on in a long time, maybe ever. The fit is great, Saucony's fit my foot well to begin with and the Zealot doesn't let down. It is very light, but has great cushion. Perfect for the long days. I alternate shoes throughout the week and have been using these on my longer days, putting in 10-15 mile runs with them once a week, and 6-8 mile runs in on a couple other days. So far I have no negative comments. They seem to be holding up very well. The outsole seems to be holding up to the miles, without a lot of wear yet. I will be more interested to see hoe the midsole holds up. The shoe is very light, but has a lot of cushion. I worry that the cushion will break down faster than normal because of this. Time will tell. Overall, I am very happy with these shoes

Crazy comfortable neutral shoe that is absolutely excellent for under-pronators, in their short life span.
Excellent shoe for running. Might be the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. My only real complaint is durability. In their effort to create the lightest shoe possible, they've skimped on some basic things which could have made a huge difference. A little more rubber surface on the sole would have gone a long way without adding much weight. As is, there are just a few rubbery grip points and they wear quickly so you'll end up running straight on the foam. Also, the fabric above my big toe and on the outer edge of my foot has started fraying. If you plan to cycle your running shoes every 2.5 months, these will work, but I wouldn't expect anything longer than that if you run regularly.

Great Shoe for Marathons
I've worn Saucony running shoes for the past 4 years in my marathon training and races and this has been my favorite one so far!The shoe I previously had was the Saucony Triumph ISO which had a tremendous amount of padding/cushioning so when I was transitioning to this shoe I was worried that my feet my be sore. To my surprise I was quickly able to adapt to this shoe with only a few days of soreness to get used to the drop (Triumph 8mm -> Zealot 4mm). So far I've put about 300 miles on them and I think they still have room for another 100-200. No rips in the material, but the soles are showing wear where I strike.I didn't change up my training but I was able to greatly improve my marathon time and avg mile/min because these shoes are LIGHT for the amount of support they provide. My only complaint is that the shoelace often twists at the top loop which can cause pain if you tighten them too tightly, but heck that's my own user error that I can fix by getting new laces. This shoe is awesome and I'm debating buying another pair until the Zealot 2 comes out!!!

Lightweight, properly cushioned road running shoe for all skill levels.
That sums it up. I love it so far, though I've only put a couple of miles on it. I will use these exclusively for running. I'm 170lbs, I run for fun and health. I'm an intermediate runner. I like the half marathon distance; looking forward to training for one in these shoes. I've needed a better cushioned running shoe for a while now. These feel great. No more sore feet. You just need to lace them tight and all the way to the highest hole to keep the heel secure. I like a very form fitting shoe, and my only slight complaint is that the heel could be slightly higher and more supportive. But I like that they kept it light at the same time. It's hard to come by a shoe like this, I think it's the perfect fit for me, and I'm picky when it comes to running shoes.

Excellent shoes. I use these for playing indoors for Pickleball. The best pair of Saucony I have ever worn. They are priced to high for my income but I am so fortunate that with the holidays and the supplier I was able to afford this pair. My feet and knees are so happy. This is the 2nd pair of the Zealot that I have gotten. I am not a runner. However with all the short types of running all over the Pickleball court during the games and playing about 2 - 3 hrs at a time these are the best. I'm a 60 yr old with "boomer knees", over weight, competitive athlete. The shoes are light, the great chusioning helps my knees, and so far the bottom soles accomadate my play style. Plus, because they are so flexible it really helps my balance and mobility versus a traditional stuff tennis shoe. One of the few shoes with a 4 mm heel to toe height that I have found that also has a wider bottom on it which is why iit also works for me in this sport. The price is out of reach for me though. So I will use these shoes very sparingly and only indoors and during competitive play and for tournaments. Thank you for the great deal Amazon. I c

Perfectos
