OceanicShadow Accent Frameless Dive Mask

We were apprehensive to buy goggles online cause we weren't able ti make sure they fit, but these worked well for my wife and I on our trip to Hawaii. The deal is good and silicone is nice and soft

I also bought the Oceanic snorkel which was an absolutely amazing purchase. Can’t recommend enough. The mask though…pass. The strap is great and doesn’t tangle in my hair (nice perk), but the mask fogs up way too easily. Spitting in and clearing the mask works for only a few minutes and then it needs to be cleared again. I wound up attaching my snorkel to a $10 speedo mask instead. The cheaper speedo mask didn’t fog all.

I’m 48 and started diving at 27. I’ve never in all those years found a mask that literally doesn’t leak until now. I have a long semi skinny face and these made my diving trip an absolute pleasure. It just shows you don’t have to spend a ton of money to get a great comfortable mask! Top notch in every way.

Before the mask's first use, I pre-treated the lens by applying basic, simple, traveler-sized Colgate toothpaste five times on the inside and two times on the outside (and dried well before reapplying). I experienced no fogging after a quick dive in the pool and no leaking. This black mask fits great (even on my big head that my brothers say that I have), and it provides a wide and excellent field of view compared to other black and even clear masks that I've used in the past. The strap also feels very comfortable, and my hair doesn't feel like it's being pulled. The only thing that I don't like is that the strap does take a lot longer to dry because it's not the usual silicone strap, but I doubt it'll be an issue. Overall, this is an amazing mask!

My 5th Oceanic Shadow, this is the only model I use. I've had 6 other brands previously and once I found the Shadow I have never looked for another. Store them well in the included hard case and you'll have no problems.

My boyfriend has a very large head and this fit him well. Sealed well. Didn’t fog.

Used for Scuba. I love this mask. If it fits your face it is awesome. I much prefer the single lens type masks as well as an all black mask. This is nice and matte and does not bounce any light inside mask. Frameless and extremely low volume; very close to my face but in a good way with an exceptional field of view. The strap is horrid. I would replace immediately. Fortunately the mask had a good enough fit that I didn’t actually need a strap at depth, but not ok to have a crap strap in general. The silicone skirt is also extremely light, which is both comfortable, but might be more potentially prone to leaking as well. I need a bit more time with it to say for sure...

This mask is well made, has very good reviews and when it is dry it fits my face like a glove. Even without the strap it stays on my face. I dive for a living so i have owned several masks. I have an average sized face and generally have zero problems fitting a mask. I was shocked when this mask leaked badly through two dives. I feel the problem is that the skirt is soft and any facial movements cause the mask seal to shift and water comes in. I don't mean like smiling or laughing which always caused a mask to flood, I mean the minute changes that happen when you turn your head or look down or clear your ears. I was really surprised and disappointed. I still give it a good review because it is well made and comfortable to wear and maybe it is just a matter of my face but I would suggest that you buy it from a place that will allow you to return it. Great mask, fits very well and the neoprene blackstrap is very comfortable and doesn’t get tangled in hair. This one is the MIni, which isn’t much smaller but fits women’s faces better and has less air space in the mask, so it’s good for diving deeper . This is my third one ( the other 2 were stolen) and will always get this mask, hopefully this is my last one! The clear silicone gives an open and bright viewing field
