Protective Face Masks (Headband), High Filtration Efficiency, Disposable Particulate Respirator (10-Pack)

Unlike other reviewers, the fit was great and there were no gaps. I DO have a very narrow face.I'm going to wear them to walk my dog, where I meet few people. I figure these masks MUST be better than the blue, ear-looped garbage I was wearing for dog walks.I started to write this review with one star because I was convinced the masks are fakes. I'd already checked the US lists to see if the company's masks had passed US Emergency Authorization. (Several months ago, most of the ones I found on Amazon claiming to be approved were either never tested or actually failed the tests!)I was pleased by the "anti-fake" sticker Powecom puts on their bags. But mine didn't work. I spent a good half hour trying to scrape off some coating to see the numbers underneath. I used my fingernail, manicure tools, even a disposable razor. Then I did it all again under 8X magnification. I couldn't see where any coating had been scraped off. I submerged the sticker in water and tried to scrape again. It started to fall apart, and I STILL couldn't see any numbers anywhere. I went for a 40-minute walk, and when I came back, tried scraping again, and saw something that MIGHT be a number underneath something that MIGHT be a gray coating. I'm really grateful to the other reviewers who were able to validate the authenticity of these masks.I'm still only going to wear these to walk my dog. I have a 3M N95 I bought a couple of years ago for woodworking. That's what I'll wear to the grocery store because I have absolutely no doubt that it is legitimate.

These masks are the European version of the US N95 standard. The masks are comfortable, worn either alone or over a "cloth and filter" mask for extra protection against the maskless Omicron 'zombies" spreading their breath in enclosed spaces despite the high infection rates, continuing death rates, and stretched hospital services.The only downside is that the method of having 2 elastic loops to hold the mask tightly is a little more difficult to use than the loop over the ear, but with the same problem entangling spectacles when taking it off.But overall, this mask is easy to wear, comfortable, and easy to speak with given the space between the mask and the mouth.Note that the mask is cleanable, and can be worn until it breaks. Highly recommended.

The best feature of this mask is that it does not use ear loops. Instead, two loops go around the head. The fit is very tight, to a fault, on my face. On a smaller face, it would offer excellent protection and comfort. On mine, it is rather uncomfortably tight but I bear with it for the protection and head loops. (My ears hurt with ear loops.) I hope to find a similarly designed mask that is slightly larger.

These Masks are a definite upgrade from the hospital Blue/white surgical masks.These actually filter the air you breathe as all the all has to go through the mask material before you breathe it.These are better priced than the really expensive N95 masks which should be left for our Medical professionals who truly need them.I use these in my uber rides (extended ride more than 30 minutes) and for days when I know I am around a large amount of people, especially indoors. These masks go around the back of your head and are much more comfortable than the around ear type masks for me. I can only wear the around ear type masks for a couple hours before my ears start to hurt. These masks, I can basically wear them the full day.

I found an open box of regular N-95 masks in my basement at the start of the pandemic, that I used to use for projects around the house like sanding wood that involved dust you wouldn't want to breathe in. I'd been using a combo of those and cloth masks through the summer, since I only go out when necessary. But the ones I had finally ran out and I tried buying these since they were somewhat reasonably priced and now that it is winter the coronavirus rates are spiking. I wanted some extra protection over cloth masks that were OK in the summer.Well, I wore this mask for the first time this weekend for a few hours and my goodness it was SO uncomfortable. I'm a 5'4" female with an average sized head, but it still felt so tight. I couldn't wear the straps over my ears because it pulled my ears down uncomfortably, so I had to put it over the top of my head which made my hair look terrible. Vain, I know, but with the regular N-95's I had I could put the straps behind my ears and pull my hair over it so I looked semi-normal in the grocery store.More importantly, I could barely breath in these masks. The tented nose design was way too tight on the top of my nose. I tried to adjust it in a million different positions, and found the best I could do was pulling it so the top was right below my eyes and my nose was in the biggest part in the middle but it was still hard to breathe. At first I had to breathe through my mouth but eventually I got used to it and breathed through my nose but ugh, they were seriously uncomfortable. My husband who does have a big head (he has to buy large hats) really hated wearing it.I guess bottom line, we were able to stand wearing them for several hours and were glad to have the extra protection, but would definitely prefer better options if they were available and affordable.

Finally, a mask that gives me a tight seal with no painful rubbing! These are FABULOUS for women and people with small to average face sizes. Tight enough that they press into my skin a bit all around the seal, but so well designed that they're comfortable all day. Don't slide down when I talk either (I'm a teacher, so that's extra important). I sterilize between uses with my Evla's UV box (also available on Amazon; highly recommend it!) so they should last a long time, too
