One charge lasts for months.
This battery holds a charge very well. I've had it for 4 months and it's still showing a full charge from the initial charge when I received it. I don't make labels every day, but probably 2 or 3 times a week and it's reassuring to know my labeler will be ready to go when I need it.

It fits, and got my printer working
First and foremost, the DYMO LabelWriter sucks. The stupid battery sucks. Why does it need a battery when it HAS to be plugged in to the USB to work. It won't work under battery power alone. Uh... well the original battery stopped taking a change, rendering my label maker useless. This aftermarket replacement battery worked. It took a charge and revived this crappy label maker. I mean, dang. The labels cost a lot and it wastes a lot of labels. Why does it need to have so much of a lead and tail for the label. Geez! This battery is good. If yours crapped out, this is a decent replacement. I saw the 9v hack and, I really don't trust it. Buy this battery. Good stuff.

Works great, and my Dymo LabelManager 280 is functional again.
I keep my Dymo LabelManager 280 on my desk connected to my computer, and keep it plugged in so it is always charged when I need it. I recently changed computers, connected the label writer, and got a message to charge the battery. I tried plugging it into a different outlet, and still got the same message. I decided the problem had to be either a defective charger or the battery was bad.I took a chance it was the battery and ordered this battery. As soon as I put this battery into the label writer and plugged it into an A/C outlet it started charging. So, my problem was the battery, and my label writer is now working. I am so happy I didn't have to buy another label writer.I haven't had this battery very long, so I can't attest as to how long it will last. At this point, I would recommend this battery for any of the compatible label writers. If my opinion changes, I will update this review.I hope this review was helpful for you.

Battery works fine
I just wish the label printer did. After it saying that the battery needed replaced and wouldn't print and then still wouldn't work with a brand new battery, I got fed up and introduced the label printer to Mr. Rubber Mallet. Most of the pieces went to recycling. As this was the 2nd replacement I have bought, I now have 3 batteries that are no longer rechargeable and don't do me much good at all.

Good replacement at a better price than DYMO charges
This battery worked fine in my DYMO labeler. Too bad the DYMO batteries give out after a year or two, especially if you do not use your labeler often. The replacements that DYMO sells cost as much as the labeler! This battery is still not cheap, but cheaper than a DYMO battery and cheaper than a new labeler. Hopefully it will have a long life. Too early to tell that now.

Works!
Exactly what I needed! I now don’t need to charge the label maker every time I go to use it. Great value for the money because it works as it should!

Battery Failure message after sitting in a label maker for 1 year.
I bought this battery in Dec. 2024. I think I used the labeler 5 or 6 times. It is now showing Batter Failure message on screen. I can not recommend this battery.
