Use these for fishing line nippers and they seem to be holding up fine. Worth buying.

Invaluable for any fishing trip. Great to quickly access and item lip line clips etc. and get right back to fishing.

I use these for attaching tools to my belt for salt water fishing. They are in and out many times a day fishing beach, jetty or boat. After a year, I have yet to have one line break or get corroded. They have a pretty good recoil so hold forceps and/or 12" x 12" towel and nail clippers. I have been very happy, ordered more and handed many of these out. I will buy again if the need arises and would recommend to a friend

Sadly this is an excellent zinger, but I unfortunately didn't notice the rather embarrassing namebrand until I received it. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have bought it just because of the namebrand alone. Whether at first glance or actually looking at it for a while, it's still embarrassing because it's either initially seen as "Same Sex" or not much better it's viewed as written as "Sam Sex". I can tell you at no time will the zinger brand name be viewed as "SamsFX" or even "SamsEX" (because that "F" looks just like an "E").So, five stars for the zinger, but unfortunately -2 stars for the embarrassing brand name that I'm going to always have to explain to anybody who sees me fishing. This is exactly why Chinese companies really should consult with an American agency before sending products over here to the American market.

Perfect, just what I wanted

Use these on my fishing tool lanyard ( I call it my Voodoo necklace) to be able to access tools quickly. They allow the tool to come to the line and zip right back up. Also the carabiner style attachment means that if I don't need all the tools on my lanyard, I can quickly take what I need and leave the rest. I like them so much better than the pin on style.
