Murica'
Before you read the 1, 2, and 3 star reviews where people complain about "it hurts my feet" read this. Any grown man who puts a new pair of boots on and complains about them not being pre-worn in, is actually a woman. These are extremely lightweight and durable. I use them to hike mountains and chase bad guys. I kicked a door in with these on and I swear to god that door came off the hinges and went through the suspects living room wall into the next room. I am GI Joe with these boots on. I jumped off a roof and ran 2 miles before driving home to handcuff my wife to the bed. If you are a super trooper who needs some lightweight, MOSTLY waterproof, bad guy chasin romper stompers, these are your first pick. Don't be like all the Sally Boo Hoos complaining about the boots not being pre worn in, put some sand paper inside of your boots and go run a marathon and you'll know how our boys in Nam felt. Murica'Just returned from hiking the Swiss Alps and man these boots held up like the American Flag on July 4th 1776. I had more traction than a goat on a grassy hill while I traversed ice capped mountains and snow covered trails, I had a group of people holding onto my arm so they wouldn't slip in their pansy walmart boots. My feet stayed dry and my boots stayed strong through three weeks of icy hell, I'm going to post a couple of pictures but ladies please don't wet your panties when you see how manly these boots look in two foot deep snow. (I wrestled a polar bear and won).

Okay Boots. Almost Great, But Not Quite.
These boots are close to being great, but not quite there. I've worn boots most my life, 8+ Years in the Military, Infantryman and now a LEO. Spent alot of time in the mountains as well. I've had these boots about 8 Months, I wear them for a minimum of 10 hours daily and up to 18 hours.Pros:- Durable boot so far- Light weight (although not the lightest)- Soles do not slip, even on ice. Good traction.- Good boot if you have to chase someone- Does not tighten or hurt top of footCons:- Crappy shoe laces- Took forever to break in (3 months)- Not breathable- Scuffs easilyThe boots take forever to break in, almost 3 Months it took. The inner sole wore out fast and are imprinted pretty deep already and have no more support or cushion left. That wore out in about 4 months, which is quite fast compared to other boots. They do not breath well so far in 80-90 degree temperatures, but did good in the Fall and Winter. They do scuff easily, I have some permanent white marks from Concrete that wont come out, but they polish just as easily. The shoe laces that come with these suck. But overall these boots are good. They've lasted longer than many other boots so far and I use them on Patrol. I don't think I'd buy a 2nd pair but I'm pleased so far with them.

Range Boots
I work as a range master at a local shooting range. These are my go to boots! I actually was hurt playing ice hockey a long time ago which left my ankle in bad shape, held together with hopes, dreams, and titanium screws. So proper ankle support was a must for me. These pups do the trick nicely. I can comfortably stay on my feet for my six hour shift. As I live in the Pacific Northwest and our weather forecast says “mud” pretty much year round, I am extremely impressed by how waterproof they are. I’ve climbed a hill full of lead and the worst kind of sticky mud, and come back with clean feet!I can highly recommend these boots for comfort and ruggedness l if you work on your feet (though admittedly, no steel or composite toes make them ill suited for construction), you will love these affordable quality bad boys.

Give them a try
I'm writing a review based on just 2 days of my husband using them, and not long term use. He has foot problems, heal pain that lasts days when he's on foot all day, and loads of other discomforts so it's hard to find the proper work shoe for him. We tend to shop forever when looking to replace his old ones because many places don't carry them, or if they do they only have a few, none of which he's liked. I took a gamble based on reviews and ordered this when we ran out of stores to look in our area. Thankfully we had free returns because the first size we ordered, which is his sneaker size and his old boots size, was too small. We went up half a size and so far he loves them. The search is finally over and I'm incredibly relieved. The price is great considering we've bought them upwards of $160, and the heal support is his favorite part. They started out stiff, but just as the reviews have mentioned, it only took one day to break in which is usually fast. I find them to look narrow compared to his last ones, but he has a narrow feet. Not sure how it would fit a wider foot. His boots do tend to last him around 2 years so I'm curious to see how these will hold up. They don't look like they'll hold up that long, but overall it was a steal and a great purchase.
