Jordan Rubin's Get Real Nutrition - Fermented SuperJuice Brain (120 grams)

I work in successful supplement / health food store, and we carried these for a while. They didn't do so well, and none of the employees really understood what made them so special-- so they were difficult to sell. We ended up getting rid of them for really cheap, so I stocked up on them. Let me say this: I have taken *a lot* of supplements. Multivitamins, herbs, minerals, probiotics, you-name-it. I noticed a bigger difference in the way I felt after one week of taking this than I ever have on any other supplement. Keep in mind that I already eat a very balanced, healthy, paleo diet. I was intrigued. Garden of Life is our biggest selling brand, and my favorite brand too. Our employees get frequent training on their products-- but not this one. I scoured their website, and couldn't find much about this supplement. What's so special about these supplements? i learned that they are fermented in the presence of highly vibration sounds. Yes, there's science behind that. That's unique for sure.Coincidentally, Jordan Rubin was going to be speaking at health food store just 30 minutes away. A co-worker, who had also had a positive experience with this supplements, and I went to see him speak. We learned how he had came out of retirement to make these supplements because he felt like there was nothing like this on the market. Essentially, the appeal is this: when you ferment foods, their nutrient content expands and becomes more bioavailable. Typically, fermented foods provide nutrients that are otherwise difficult to obtain (vitamin k2, for example). There are fermented superfoods that we would otherwise never consume. The benefits I felt from taking this outweighed my skepticism.I also love that the packaging is compostable.

It does not mix well. Stays in the bottom of the glass.

I have no idea as to how it works because (was going to buy) it has no levels of vitamins/minerals/trace minerals listed - which means one can not compare these values to other products. (background in biochemistry, chemistry of arts - arts and decades of holistic / natural therapies).

What I love about this powder is:1. No wheat and barley grasses. Even though those are technically gluten free, I always react negatively.2. Very small serving size. Only a tiny amount is needed, so even my kids will tolerate it in their drinks.3 Very mild tasting. almost tasteless (which makes it great for kids as well)Super happy with this product!
