I bought it for my son and he loves the poetry of the pictures this book.There isa visual story, but the detail is open to interpretation; we love it!

A simply beautifully illustrated book. A joy to look at and share with my children.

I have been using this book with a class of Year 2 children and they have absolutely loved it. The freedom to use your imagination and to interpret the pictures as you go through the book has really appealed to them and each day they have spotted something different in the pictures. Over the week we have changed our minds several times about what we think will happen next and it has been so exciting. We have written diary accounts, collected a class book of adjectives, painted some beautiful pictures and created some thought bubbles for the family in the story. I would thoroughly recommend this book for use in school and at home.
