Q: will these take led g4 bulbs or does it have to be halogen as the led tend to be bigger?

Avoid this product at all costs: the quality is shocking, and it took weeks to arrive from China with no instructions, it had the gold plating missing in many areas, marks, scratches and you even had to assemble all the electrical connection to the LED Lamp yourself. Asked for a return and refund from the seller, and they initially wanted me to return it to China and pay the return postage. Had to take out an A-to-z Guarantee claim to force the seller into giving a refund. This product should be removed from the Amazon Marketplace for safety reasons alone, never mind the quality.
