fun story
Jessica has started a new club at school called the Beauties, a group that will beautify the area with community service such as flowers. Jessica wants to fill the group with popular, pretty girls from the school. So when Robin is interested in joining the group, Jessica is not happy. Robin is slightly overweight and not one of the popular students.Jessica comes up with crazy ideas that Robin must pass in order for her to be eligible to join the club. Elizabeth is determined that Robin get to join the club, so she helps Robin pass the tests (which Jessica is not aware of.)It was a fun story. In the end, Robin doesn't care to be in the group and seems smarter and to have moved on. Robin is also taking better care of herself at the end of the novel and has an amazing transformation. She's running, has a personal trainer, and she mentioned her mom being behind her and that there is also a nutritionist. This doesn't sound like a crash diet, just her eating healthier and starting to exercise, that's a good thing.I'm pretty sure I read this one years ago when I was younger. The author must have gone back and edited it a few years back when it was republished, because when I read it, no one would have been sending emails back and forth.

Katniss Everdeen, Please Kill These Two
I grew up reading these books and I was always on Elizabeth's side. She's the good one and Jessica was a manipulative, brat. As I'm rereading these books, I realize why people don't like Elizabeth. Can that girl be anymore of a pushover? "Oh, I'll never tell on Jess because she is my BFF and my twin." I am gagging here, grow some freaking balls. I know Jessica is your twin and all, but she accused Todd of almost raping her in the first book. Can you say sociopath? It was kinda funny to see that they took out the part where they describe the twins as a perfect size 6 because you know at 5'6 nowadays, they'd be perfect size 2's. I disgusted with myself because I can't stop reading them. What happened to Todd? In his late 20 somethings he seemed to have lost his personality. I liked the snarky comments he made about Jessica. I'm annoyed with myself and I am so annoyed with the Wakefield twins. Well back to reading, maybe Buffy or Katniss will make an appearance and Buffy can stake Elizabeth then Katniss can shoot Jessica with an arrow. One can dream.
