Crafter's Market 2016: How to Sell Your Crafts and Make a Living Paperback – November 16, 2015

A good adjunct to the "Market" series, it has a lot of helpful information, but could use some updates, especially regarding sources and shows.

Got mine today! It's a GREAT resource for marketing your crafts. Not only does it have extensive listings for craft markets, it also has how-to articles written by folks in the crafting biz. I actually bought this AND the 2015 edition. Many of the listings are the same, but the articles at the beginning are chocked full of useful info. I'll probably get updated editions every couple of years. It pays to stay current!

I'd give it a 6 out of 10. I'd recommend it for the craft events.

I'm disappointed in this book. I bought it thinking it would be similar to Writer's Market, which is the bible for professional writers. Crafter's Market looks like it was put together quickly, without much thought for the readers. For example, the sections on Markets are ordered alphabetically by the name of the particular market. That means that there is no way to search for a particular area or for a market if one doesn't already have the name.

Not exactly what I was looking for... Though did have some useful advice, it's really not a how to book. More of a everywhere you can go and find help book.

This book was everything I was expecting and more! The list of shows around the country was very useful for me. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in seller their handmade goods.
